This is a great product to get lean and to challenge you, but the green rope is not a speed rope one like the page says, it is too heavy for that, I have a fast speed rope that is in fact, for fast speed jumping and you can feel the diference, but thats all, this is a great product and one that will challenge you, you will feel the work and you will see the results. good jump rope. ... show more

I own this set. This is my first professional jump rope set I've ever owned and I have to say it's been well worth the price. I understand $80 is a hefty ask, but I've used probably more than $80 on a lot of different inferior quality jump ropes. Glad to say this is DEFINITELY money well spent. - Performance - 9/10 Ball bearings in the mechanism as well as the extended design NEVER hurt me when jumping and making mistakes. High quality design and materials manufacturing result in by far THE BEST jump rope experience I have ever had. I've done over 10,000 jumps easily already. Only caveat is the handle--the handle has this sticky adhesive glue that can seep through the seam on super hot days (90 degrees and up). I actually learned to not jump on days hotter than 85 degrees anymore, but I was doing their challenge. - Function - 10/10 Every mechanism in the Cross Rope design from the handles to the attachment to the rope itself function flawlessly. Again, easily over 10,000 jumps, probably even over 25,000. Height calibration is REALLY ACCURATE. I am 5'-9" (175.26 cm) tall and I purchased a Large Kit. This is perfect for me. - Test - 10/10 Used over smooth concrete, textured concrete, pavement, asphalt, and semi-rough rockier terrain. As plainly stated (paraphrased), it is NOT recommended to be used with heavily textured ground / rough terrain. I did it anyway to test. It wore my ropes down a little bit so I stopped that. Got the "Get Lean" set (1/4 pound + 1/2 pound). Was training for Spartan race and I am already relatively fit. The 1/2 pound easily gave me a challenge. Thanks Crossrope, this was well worth it. - Results - 10/10. Did this challenge for about 30 days. Lost about 5 pounds and gained a LOT of muscle in the process. I can now do pull-ups cleanly. Again, thanks Crossrope. These were well worth the investment. I hope to see more interesting events and products from you folks. - Storage - 9/10 Sometimes jump rope kits are hard to store because the cables actually like to twist and keep a certain form. It is interesting to me that these are so willing to stay straight and unknotted, which seems like a small thing, but is really a huge deal. These maintain their form, making it easy to pack and unpack or store away in a minimalist environment. ... show more
