It was a very heavy box, very well packed and padded. The easiest way to get started was I took out piece by piece and dragged it to the bedroom and layed out like pieces. Do not under any circumstances cut the Velcro that is stapled to the slats. I didn't know it was Velcro and cut one off and removed the staples. I failed to read the instructions thinking I could wing it. Yeah don't do that. It is super easy to set up and took less than 2 hours. Easier if done with 2 people. If you accidentally cut any of the velcro off, we just drilled in a screw to keep the last board in place lol. We followed diagram by diagram and made sure we didn't tighten all the screws till we were finished with certain sections once it was all set we then went back to screw everything tight. There was just 1 section the right foot board corner that was a bit challenging but once we got the left footboard corner attached we managed to align the bottom right footer perfectly. Aside from that my only take away is if you want the headboard to be taller then don't use box springs because it comes with slats. I did find the slats of wood on the thin side and I wanted a taller bed and wasn't concerned with a taller headboard so I did get some 9 inch box springs but it isn't required. It was my preference to do so. There was no issues with the fabric like others had mentioned, no loose threads, great darker shade, matched well with my other random but similar pieces in the room. It is soft and I simply love it. It felt very sturdy once we got our 9 inch metal boxsprings on and what you see is a 12 inch foam mattress. And there is still so much headboard showing. It is very lovely for the price we paid.

I’m happy with the blue velvet king sized bed. The photo available is just okay. I put it in to show the color of the bed. On my computer the blue looked more Royal, but at home it’s definitely navy. I like both so the color is great, but I think royal blue would have been fun! Details… arrived quickly by fed ex, heavy box in front of garage. I needed help- this was a 2 person box for sure! Unpackaging was fine. Easy directions and most things marked clearly. Larger pieces were not labeled but looked easy to identify. Screws and tools well made and included. Screw holes are threaded with metal. Took me about 2 hours total, but I did stop for wine. It was also Saturday evening so I wasn’t in a hurry. Went together smoothly. I did the entire thing myself except put my 14 inch mattress on top. Good support underneath bed with metal structure with several “legs”. Wooden slats on top with Velcro to keep in place. Everything fits “tight” so appears sturdy and well made. No real room for underneath storage but I don’t have to jump to get into my bed now, so that’s a great trade off for me. My mattress is 14” and is currently at around 28” from floor to mattress top when using this bed. I’m very pleased with this purchase. It doesn’t feel cheap and no scratches or anything. I have it against the wall (head of bed) and leaning back against headboard was a nice way to read this morning. I’d say get the bed. I would buy again. I thought the charcoal looked pretty but I’m glad I went with the blue. It’s fun! Would look classier if I got my fancy linens and blankets out, but it’s cold here so I took the pic with the comfy blankets. Would recommend. My bed is king sized.

The quality of this bed frame is really good . I was expecting a lower quality . However I am more than happy , that it is really good quality . One thing that I didn't like is how the price , was lower & then was raised up like almost $40 . However I am still glad that I purchase it . Note : That the box is very heavy & will require more than one person to carry it . My box arrived in great condition from store & was delivered with care from Amazon driver . The bed frame didn't have an odor , like other customers had stated . I had mine still in the box , for very close to 2 months .... Absolutely no odor at all ! My 16 yr old child put the bed frame together practically alone . I only assisted with holding the headboard part up , while my child placed the screws in it . So depending on your level of independency , this can be a one person job . There was no issues with assembling it . I advice customers to get fabric protector spray , just as a form of security against accidental spills . I highly recommend this bed to others . KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS for if you have to take it down & then assemble it again .

I loveeeee this bed. The box was really heavy however, set up was pretty straightforward & easy. I set it up by myself & probably took an hour. The only thing that bothers me is my king size mattress doesn’t fill the entire frame, there’s a bit of space at the end of the bed. It doesn’t bother me I just tuck my comforter in & you can’t even notice. Happy with the purchase & it came faster than expected. I have a 12inch mattress & it’s sits high enough for me. Since the frame has feet, it doesn’t sit as low as most platform beds. The velvet is easy to clean as well!! I spot clean it using warm water with a little dish soap. Hopefully it lasts a while. Overall very happy with it

I’m really impressed with this bed. I was in need of a bed for my new mattress, and wasn’t optimistic that I’d find such high quality for such an affordable price, but this surprised me! It was (mostly) easy to assemble - I did it alone in about 90 minutes. It’s very sturdy, makes no noises, and it looks amazing. The velvet is soft to touch, and delivery was faster than expected. Definitely recommend! :)

I liked that it had and extra support for the king size. You have to put it together with hex wrench so find a hex bit that fits on a drill or powered screwdriver to save some time. The directions were clear and all the parts were there. A great value for the money and it looks fantastic!
