The lamps are very nice. I was pleased they arrived with the lampshades already assembled (other lamps often are not). The lamps were very easy to assemble, the only thing to do was putting the shade onto the lamp, securing it with the provided ring, and putting in the lightbulb (provided). Two minutes, maximum. I like the shape of the lampshade, too. The negatives aren’t major, but they temper my rating. First, they are shorter than I’d realized. That’s probably my fault. I’m sure they are the height that was listed, but I’d envisioned something several inches taller. However, the feature that bothers me is the location of the USB ports; they are centered on the front side of the lamp. If, when looking at the picture of the lamps, I’d thought about it, I would have realized the location of the ports. But, obviously, I did not. It’s not a game changer, but it is visually annoying to me. ... show more
