I used these to cut thin material like balsa and light-ply for rc aircraft. Since it's a spiral up-cut bit, it tends to lift soft material like balsa up while its cutting it, but not so much for light-ply, so a double-flute straight end mill bit is better for cutting thin balsa sheets. With that said, these work great and are very durable.

The media could not be loaded. This is my review of Genmitsu 1/8 Inch Shank 10pcs Carbide Spiral O Flute (Single Flute) End Mill CNC Router Bits. I ordered these bits to cut acrylic on my CNC for the inserts on music boxes I craft. The bit I used was the 1/8 diameter up cut O-Flute. This bit has a properly sized shank when measured with calipers. It fit the collet and tightened down securely. The bit did not slip in the collet during the cutting operation. I set the spindle speed to 18,000 RPM with a feed rate of 30 IPM and Plunge rate to 20 IPM. This setting produced a decent cut, however, not as clean as I expected from a O-Flute bit, which I was able to easily cleanup with sandpaper (see photos of cut quality). I did not notice any signs of bit stress which would lead to failure. I believe this set would be a decent choice for cutting acrylic and would also process wood, albeit with a different feed and plunge rate. I would rate these bits 4-stars as they work as described and have met my expectations.

The 10 piece selection contains bits with 5 different cutting diameters and different cutting lengths for bits with the same diameter. The bits come in a nice case and will work well in my CNC router. The price for these bits is exceptional. If they last at all, then this is a great buy.
