  • Great little corn cobs
Size: 0.8-3mm
The 1/8 cob cut bits are monsters, Love 'em, wish I could buy them in a stand alone pack. I just sit like a cave man and watch them granulate steel. I've always thought that chips were the way to go but these little guys showed my something different. I thought that these were more for wood and such and only grabbed it off my shelf out of desperation but they cut well. I had to feed it a slow cutting speed (.001 or so per sec at 900 rpm) but it worked like a charm on 1045. I chewed one up after about an hour, but I had gotten a little impatient and dinged the very tip up. The flutes kept cutting! The price on these is good, like I said, just wish I could buy the 3mm in multi packs by themselves. ... show more

  • Very tough and sharp.
I have used these to cut wood, plastic, aluminum, hardened steel, and stainless steel. So far they have worked very well and are still sharp as new. Haven’t burned up any of them yet. I like ‘em!!

  • A little brittle, but they work well.
Size: 0.8-3mm
The small ones are likely to break, but that's kind of the nature of working with bits this small. They all cut well in my CNC, tho so I would still recommend them.

  • GoodBits.

CNC bits great I use them to cut plastic/epoxy resin. Good bits.

  • Affordable and effective
Size: 0.8-3mm
So far these have worked great for cutting wood. Just be sure to get your feeds and speeds right. Run them too fast and you break them, run them too slow and you create friction which heats them up until the either break our wear out very fast. Even the most expensive endmills in the world can be destroyed by operator error. I got good results cutting hardwood with the 1.4mm bit using SFM: 141, chipload of .005, and a depth of cut of .0157 (4mm). I would not probably not recommend cutting metal with these, but I have not tried it yet. ... show more

  • Smaller bits are not durable
Size: 0.8-3mm
small bits lasted 1 pass then broke. I was even cutting MDF. I adjusted my feed rates and pass depths accordingly for the small bits. The larger bits do cut, but i feel they do not cut as cleanly as a standard spiral up or down bit. Price is cheap, so i gave them a shot, but i wont purchase these bits again and i have put them aside for now. ... show more

  • Love these. I get them all the time
Size: 0.8-3mm
I love these bits. I use them in a hannd held carver to cut and design my gourds. Perfect clean cuts every time!

  • Update, to 4 stars
Size: 0.8-3mm
The smaller bits are not very durable. Seem to be brittle and prone to breakage. I thought at first it was just me pushing it to fast but reducing the the speed did not help. Update, Customer support supplied me with replacement bits and these are working much better.
