I was impressed with this bit when I first started using it with my soss hinge template. It cut easily and smooth. Then I messed up and instead of the guide hitting the screw, the blade hit the screw and cut half through a screw that was used as a stop for center part of hinge that's deeper. I was sure it wrecked bit.... but started again making sure all was set properly and I was able to finish my table leaf project with smooth cuts.
