I needed this to cut mortices in red oak for a KS bed, see footboard leg in photo. In the picture you can see how effortlessly it cut into one of the hidden screws holding the 2x4s together to make the legs, there was no visible damage to the bit after cutting into 2 screws it completed the 16 mortices easily. Cut was silky smooth no chatter, finish was very clean.

The long cut length is nice, but the bit is not machined square. Along the length, the cut varies laterally by 1/32”. Not good for jointing on the router table, but good enough for other things.

Cut maple end grain counter top like butter. Very little tear out, very sharp - only used it a few times but appears to stay very sharp with repeated use - time will tell. Based on price - I couldn't ask for more!
