The universal wireless wall console also features an optional bright pulsing LED light that allows you to find it in the dark and a Jogger DELAY button that allows you to have up to twenty extra seconds to delay the movement of any or all of the garage doors. No need to jump over the garage door safety sensors, just set the time delay close feature for 10-seconds, 15-seconds or 20-seconds by pressing the hourglass button on the wireless wall console. The Wireless Wall Console will work with most popular brands of garage door openers. The Genie Universal Three-Door wireless wall console is powered by 2 AAA batteries (included). If the batteries are running low, you will see a blinking red light weeks ahead of time reminding you to change the AAA batteries.

I have an older Wayne Dalton garage opener. The remote wall unit was glitching and became unreliable. I was able to pair this in about 1 min. And mounted to drywall in garage with screws provided. Very easy. Setup and installation took about 5 minutes. Been working flawlessly for 2 weeks so far.

    • Does not work well with late model Craftsman/Chamberlain Garage door openers
As a homeowner, I have a three-car garage with Craftsman garage door openers of different vintages (11/97, 02/98, & 09/05/20). The 02/98 Craftsman opener recently died of old age and was replaced with a Chamberlain C2102 with a manufacture date of 03/08/23 purchased from Lowes. I then purchased a GENIE Universal Wireless wall counsel (Model GUWWC2) from Amazon to operate the three doors from one location. The GENIE Wireless effortlessly programed the vintage (11/97) opener. After many tries, I finally got it to connect to the 09/05/20 Craftsman where it worked sporadically. It absolutely refused to connect with the 02/08/23 Chamberlain. I then decided to clear the GENIE Counsel and start over. After clearing the GENIE Wireless Memory I had to completely reprogram all the remotes in my vehicles. In addition, the GENIE still would not connect with the 03/08/23 Chamberlain. This opener seems to work well with older Craftsman openers; however, newer Craftsman and/or Chamberlain openers with yellow buttons seem to have problems. I would not purchase the GENIE Universal Wireless again. ... show more

    • Doesn't work with craftsman red program button
It states in the description that this works with Craftsman openers with the red/orange program button. This was not the case. It worked fine for the Craftsman opener with the purple program button but not the red. Also the batteries it came with were dead. I was looking for a wireless controller that operated both door openers I have so this isn't the solution for me. I know it's not the receiver because the homelink in both our vehicles works with both garage doors. Had to return this item. ... show more

I set this up with 2 genie garage doors, different models but both with intellicode. It was pretty easy to set up, my complaints are it seems bigger than it needs to be, but maybe people like the bigger size. And there's a delay after pushing the button before the door moves that my regular remotes don't have. You push the button, wait a sec then it goes. ... show more

    • Easy way to add an extra opener
Our house is a new build and the open/close buttons were mounted by the house entry door. There were no open/close buttons next to the garage door itself. There were times I didn't want to walk over to the house entry door to hit the open/close switch. I first thought I would have to pay to have additional wired switches added, but then I found this Genie Universal Garage Door Opener Wireless Wall Console. It was a breeze to set up and mount and I couldn't be happier. It took maybe 15 minutes to set up and mount. It works great too.
