This was much more sturdy and heavier than I expected, and certainly an upgrade from the smaller storage ottoman I was using. When the box arrived, I was confused about what was shipped because it was pretty heavy. However, once I got it out of the packaging, it only took 3 minutes to set it up. This one is much longer than others in the same price range, and I like that because it is going at the end of my queen bed and looks better than shorter options. The lid also has much more cushioning than I expected at this price range. It's also a great step up to the bed for the dogs. The only thing I don't like is that the dividers for the storage compartment can only be placed in the exact spots where the velcro is inside. In other words, if you use the dividers (which I am pretty sure you should/must to maintain the structure of the box), you will have three storage compartments that are only one third of the overall size, which is why I am only giving a four-star rating. ... show more

I ordered this bench - and a couple shorter ones to use as lightweight storage seating in my truck camper build… I was hesitant to order them since they’re collapsible and likely wouldn’t be strong enough to endure long term and rugged use. I just received the product and wow - these things are surprisingly very sturdy. I immediately went to jumping up and down in it - and it’s solid man. Thicker materials were used than I originally thought, and it’s actually pretty comfy! It may end up being my dogs bed at camp.
