Visit the Store Visit the Store 550ml brew boiler integrated with group head for stable temperature and consistent extraction. Fine-tune brew pressure to match bean roast, ensuring optimal flavor every cup. Pre-infusion awakens aromas and enhances extraction for richer flavor within 0-10s. Independent temp control ensures perfect, consistent taste every time One-touch temperature preset operation creates silky microfoam with precise control. Customize temp, time & modes freely for a cafe-quality experience. Precise NTC control offers one-tap 40-90°C presets to craft cloud-like microfoam. Automatic cleaning and 28-minute automatic standby ensure safe, energy-efficient operation. Why is the steam weak or unstable on my 3028A? 1. After lights stop blinking, wait 1 minute before steaming. 2. Do not steam during preheat. Switch to manual mode S-0 via “+/-”, then purge the wand. 3. If it persists, run 3–4 citric acid cleaning cycles, especially for the steam system. How does the Dual OPV work? Dual OPV: 9–12 bar (Preset/Manual). ● 6–7 bar: For light roasts; boosts acidity. ● 7–9 bar: Balanced for medium-dark roasts. ● 9–11 bar: Rich, creamy for dark roasts. Tip: Low pressure reduces channeling. How can I ensure the extracted coffee maintains the ideal temperature? Wait for the machine to fully preheat before use — the indicator lights will all turn on when it’s ready. Run a short hot-water cycle without coffee powder to warm up the group head and filter holder, ensuring a stable extraction temperature. How should the pressure gauge behave during extraction? Perform a cleaning pad test to confirm normal operation (see the demo video on our store page). If the pressure is still low, use a finer coffee grind and fill the powder up to the ridge line inside the filter basket for optimal extraction. How to Make a Cup of Perfect Coffee? Five key parameters for making a perfect coffee: -Temperature: 194-205℉ | Pressure: 9-12bar -Coffee dose: Double shot 17-20g, Single shot 9-12g -Extraction time: 25±5s | Brew ratio: 1:2~2.5

  • Gemilai Espresso Machine - Ele(phant) G3028A
Color: Grey
I’ve been using the Gemilai espresso machine for a while now, and honestly, it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. First of all, the build quality feels solid and reliable. It doesn’t feel cheap at all, and the design is sleek enough to fit nicely in any kitchen setup. The machine heats up relatively quickly, which is great when you just want a coffee without waiting too long. What really stands out is the espresso quality. With the right grind and dose, it produces a rich, well-balanced shot with great crema. The pressure is consistent, and once dialed in, it delivers repeatable results, which is something I really value. Another big plus is how user-friendly it is. Even if you’re still learning, it’s not intimidating to use. At the same time, it gives you enough control to experiment and improve your technique—whether that’s adjusting grind size, dose, or extraction time. The steam wand also performs quite well. It’s capable of producing smooth microfoam, making it possible to prepare good lattes and cappuccinos at home. For its price range, this is definitely a strong point. Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward too, which makes daily use much more enjoyable. The portafilter and overall workflow feel comfortable and practical. Overall, the Gemilai offers excellent value for money. It’s a great option for anyone looking to get into home espresso or upgrade from a basic machine without spending a fortune. Reliable, capable, and enjoyable to use. ... show more

  • It is a good machine!
Color: Grey
For the good part: It is one of the better machines out there for the price really, it offers a lot of control in regards of pressure, brewing temperature and even steam temperature, already includes a bottomless portafilter for naked Instagram shots, temp is quite stable as well during brewing. Even if not capable of brewing and steaming at the same time, it can get into steaming straight after pulling a shot so there's virtually waiting for steam vs other machines, like single boiler or single thermoblock machines. The Included tamper feels quite solid and has good weight to it also so it saves you from having to buy one, it is just a regular tamper though, if you like the self leveling and force calibrated ones you'll need to buy one separately. Steam is pretty strong, taking maybe 30 seconds to steam milk to a proper temperature (149 F / 65 C), though I've not timed it, it's also pretty easy to get microform for latte art so long as you have the technique down to steam for latte art, steam is also quite dry, auto steaming is also possible on the machine as it has a thermal probe and allows you to stop steaming when the desired temperature is reached. It has 2 vibratory pumps, one for each steam and brewing, and there quite silent, not in the gear/rotary pump level of course, but they won't wake up anyone sleeping if you're pulling a hot at 4 am before work. For the bad (even for a 5 star review): Due to voltage limitations you can't steam and brew at the same time, I'm ahead of this as there is no wait, and personally I prefer to watch my shot before steaming, though it would've been nice for them to offer a 220V optional version of the machine for people with the wish of simultaneous brew-steam for a VERY affordable price. Does not include a milk steaming jug so you will need to buy one separately, this is minor as well. A different low water indicator mechanism would've been preferred, as you cannot see the machine's tank directly, you may accidentally start pulling a shot when the machine is low on water the shot will automatically stop, leading to coffee waste, I like how you can't use the machine if there's not enough water, but at the same time it "ruins" a shot if you're not careful. UI is not intuitive to use, there's only so much you can do with a screen like the one it has, but I'd would've been nicer to have either a larger more descriptive screen or 1 more button so toggle between settings. Heat up time is JUST a little bit longer than 5 minutes for me, I counted about 6 minutes from off to ready to brew AND steam, could be just the base water temperature but it's a thing to notes you may want to give the machine 6-8 minutes to be fully ready These are all minor things however, the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion. Coffee taste...?: Coffee taste depends a lot of the coffee being used, water being used, grinder, grind size and even the season and time of day, so your millage may vary, I already dialed in my Sette 270 for 18g->36g out in about 28s, the shot tastes very balanced and I appreciate how the machine becomes invisible in a way, it allows you to just enjoy the coffee you're using. My only tip is that you try to pair the machine up with a grinder on par, grinders like the DF54, Varia VS3 and even the Sette 270 come to mind. Final thoughts: Coming from a single thermoblock machine, it is night and day from temp stability to just ease of use after setting the OPV and brew temp, I'm white happy with the purchase. I have not pictures as of yet as I didn't feel like taking any, if I can edit the review in the future I'll add some ... show more

  • Great 'prosumer' machine w-all necessary adjustments and at an incredible price point
Color: Grey
After my first coffee trip to Sul de Minas, Brasil, in 2005, and upon my return to the US, I joined the Specialty Coffee Association. I also built my first home espresso and roasting areas. I built the espresso counter in 2007 at our then new home, where it continues to provide excellent espresso extractions. After twenty years using the Spaziale S1 machine, I spent a couple years reviewing a large variety of Amazon available espresso machines, both stationary and portable. Just this year, mid 2026, I purchased the Gemilai Ele. It incorporates all the necessary advanced features for 'pulling great shots'. As is typical, adjustability of the grind, and all that goes into the portafilter prior to pulling the shot, is what really makes a good percentage of success on the extraction. What I can say is that having an on-board timer for that shot, and being able to adjust the brew temperature, brew pressure, pre-infusion and time of the shot running manually, makes this a very controllable espresso machine. I also use scales both for repeatable bean load as well as monitoring my extractions by 'liquid weight' in the cup. Having home roasted for twenty years and using one of the best green blends in the industry certainly helps. But I have to had it to Gemilai for providing, even for a seasoned specialty coffee person, a very competitively priced machine loaded with all the features we look for in espresso brewing. ... show more

  • Buy quality from a legacy manufacturer (Profitec, Lelit, Ascaso, ECM, etc)
Color: Grey
Hugely disappointing. Really bad steaming wand. Portafilter grinds as it's inserted/removed from the group head. Body panels flex. Drip tray is not stable. Using a puck screen is very difficult. Each time I use the machine I have to tighten the portafilter further/harder The group head needs a lightbulb to allow for better visibility of the process. Will be returning it for a better machine. ... show more

  • Good purchase
Color: Grey
So far so good. Purchased the 3028A and their grinder. Packaging was of very good quality. The espresso machines build quality is good in my opinion, it feels solid. The overflow tray and its cover is the only thing that does not match the rest of the machine. Warm up of the machine is great, it reaches operating temperature within a couple of minutes. The steam wand can be operated while running the compressor due to its own thermo block. The machine is easy to operate and the learning curve is very short. The default settings work just fine and the only thing I made adjustments to was the flow valve to keep the pressure between 9-11 bars. I am very happy with the quality of the espresso. I debated for months about this purchase and wanted to purchase a non Chinese product, BUT in the end a sale and a prime bonus broke my resistance. I could not justify spending another 1k plus for a nice stainless steel machine with the same options this machine has. ... show more

  • Great machine with many features
Color: White
TLDR: Highly recommended machine if you appreciate milk temperature probe as much as I do. I upgraded my setup from Delonghi ECP to Gemilai Ele. Machine is built like a tank and very stable. Provided accessories look and feel premium. It was a nice fit under my cabinets and most importantly wife liked and approved it. Coffee shots are very consistent with minimal efforts. I can place a scale and a full size cup under the clearance is great. None of the parts look cheap and everything feels great. Quirks there is no hot water outlet, and this has no water debit like 3007Z, but the milk temperature probe was more important for me. You can almost do hand free milk if you get the milk quantity right and place pitcher correctly. I think this is a great budget machine, provided the features, if that is not much of use then go for 3007Z instead. ... show more

  • I like it
Color: Grey
I’ve been using another Gemilai espresso machine the G3006 for quite a while and really liked it, so when this newer model came out, I didn’t hesitate to give it a try. So far, it’s been a solid upgrade. The G3028A machine feels well built and stable, and it’s clearly designed for people who want more control at home. Temperature and pressure feel consistent, and once you dial things in, the espresso quality is very good. I mostly drink espresso and milk based drinks, and it handles both well. The automatic frothing is convenient for everyday use, especially on busy mornings. It’s not a commercial café machine, but it offers many professional level features that are more than enough for serious home use. There is a bit of a learning curve if you like to fine tune your shots, but that’s expected and part of the process. Overall, I’m happy with the upgrade and would recommend it to home users who want something more advanced than an entry level machine. ... show more
