Bought the A7 Max as a faster alternative to the GMKtec M6. The Geekom is faster and better built quality and has Dual 2.5GB NIC(Network Interface Card). It also has a better warranty then the GMKtec. It has a 3 year warranty as compared to the 1 year warranty for the GMKtec. My biggest complaint with the A7 Max was it only having 16GB RAM. If one is buying a mini pc with more cpu cores and faster clock speed then 16GB Ram does not cut the mustard. I speak as a Retired 30 year IT Manager and Process Control Engineer. At least the GMKtec M6 came with 32GB Ram and the Geekom did not. Also one of the best things I like with the A7 Max was using the USB(40Gbps) with my ASUS ROG gaming monitor. With the price of RAM and Hard Drives increasing due to AI Data Centers I did not like having to shell out and additional $215 for a 16gb DDR5 Ram chip from Crucial which I now see is unavailable. The Data Centers are really causing problems for personal pc enthusiast! I am glad I built my own Data Center with 4 Synology NAS and 1 PetaByte of total storage which I can access from anywhere. But due to the cost of RAM and Hard Drives I could not entertain updating my work station to a newer build. Hence the mini pc's. I have my PhD in Astrophysics so I use one Mini PC for that. As a Amateur Radio Operator I use a Mini PC for that. For the wife to keep here off my stuff, a Mini PC for her. My Gaming a Mini PC. Get the picture? Mini PC's are coming with better and faster hardware and with prices as they now are, they are a better alternative then a new PC build. As a final note I have found more computer geeks like me recommending the Geekom Mini PC's. Also one of the best features for Mini PC's is that they now come with Windows 11 Pro and not the Home version. I tell everyone I know to always buy a Pro version of windows instead of the home versions which to me are really unsafe being on the internet! The Geekom A7 Max I can highly recommend!

Useful for virtual machines for class

I love this mini PC. The value is good, and the size is portable. It doesn't have many USB-C ports, but that is fine for me. I use the USB-C to connect to one of my monitors. There's also an HDMI port to connect to an HDMI port on a monitor. There are also USB A ports in the front where I connect my wired mouse and keyboard. I like that it has many cores and memory for me to be able to use my virtual machines in it. I like that it has Windows Pro, so I can use it with Windows features like virtual machines or Hyper-V. I'm using it for my class too. Use Hyper-V to make virtual machines, and it can keep up as small as it is. Speaking of how small it is, I like how small it is, and it's portable, it seems, and carrying; just carry it to other places like class or somewhere. All you need is just a keyboard, mouse, and a monitor. It seems like it's a very powerful computer for how small it is. For my use case, it does get a bit noisy at times, but that's expected since I'm using it a lot for its memory for my virtual machines and school work. With the memory or RAM it has, it also is very. I can work with many tabs on my browser, and also I can have multiple virtual machines as well. Right now I can have like three virtual machines, which is great, which is what I need. Three virtual machines at the same time. The speed seems to be really fast for my use case. I highly recommend it.

This is a really nice PC unfortunately I cannot take pictures because I returned it in trade for something with many many more gigabytes of memory. I am trying to run a large language model and although the memory on this mini PC is greater than a lot of things on the market I wanted to go all the way up to 128 GB of ram. If I did not need so much ram, I would have kept this because it really is inexpensive for what you’re getting it connects easily to the Internet set up was very easy. It was a nice small size that could be put anywhere. they provide a generous amount of ports so everything can be hooked up. This really has a good deal by with confidence.

Completely Unreliable – Random Power-Offs and Disappointing Customer Support I purchased the GEEKOM IT13 MAX AI Mini PC with the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H expecting a reliable, high-performance computer for coding and multitasking. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Within the first 2 days of ownership, the computer randomly powered off more than 20 times without any warning. It did not restart automatically—it simply lost power completely while I was using it. These unexpected shutdowns occurred during normal use, making the computer unreliable and unsuitable for professional work. I also attempted to perform a Windows factory reset to erase my personal data before returning the computer. However, the random power-offs prevented the reset from completing. On several attempts, the reset would reach approximately 8% before the computer suddenly shut off again. As a result, I was unable to complete the factory reset or reliably remove my personal information. I have videos and photos documenting these repeated shutdowns, so this was not an isolated incident. The customer service experience, from the seller. In the first contact, was equally disappointing. Instead of replacing the defective computer or providing a proper warranty solution, the Amazon seller instructed me to open the computer and troubleshoot it myself. I do not believe it is reasonable to ask a customer to disassemble a brand-new computer to fix a hardware problem. That behavior expresses not professional responsibility. After I contacted Amazon, I was provided with a return authorization, a return barcode, and instructions to send the computer back, which I followed. However, after the return process had already been initiated, the seller warned me that if I did not follow their preferred troubleshooting process, my refund could be delayed for several days. I found this frustrating because I had already followed Amazon's official return procedure for a defective product. The hardware specifications look impressive on paper, but reliability and customer support are just as important. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short in both areas. Pros Fast Intel Core Ultra 9 processor Compact design Good selection of ports Cons Random power-offs (20+ times within the first week) Unable to complete a factory reset because the computer repeatedly shut down Unreliable for professional work Seller asked me to open and troubleshoot a brand-new computer Poor post-sale customer service and an unnecessarily stressful return process Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product or this seller. A new computer should work properly out of the box. If it is defective, customers should receive a prompt replacement or refund without being asked to repair the device themselves or worry about unnecessary refund delays after following Amazon's return process.

Lound fan when laying flat.

I purchased to use to stream Amazon music to my DAC so it was overkill since it is a very fast system. Very nice looking unit with plenty of external, USB USBC and hard wired ethernet ports in addition to WIFI. The wired ports is what I was interested in since I stream at the highest possible resolution. 2 HDMI ports and 2 USBC ports allow for 4 monitor viewing. I used 1 HDMI to stream to my 83 inch Samsung OLED and was inpressed with the output. All in all a great little NUC mini PC. Only issue is that unless the unit is standin on it's side the fan makes a very loud noise. Super quiet on it's side which is how I wanted to use it anyway but be advised that if you are going to use it laying flat it could be an issue. It also could be just a one off for the one I received.

Great PC with no issues

I was a bit worried after I read some of the customer issues on other reviews. But this pc is up and running. It's fast, quiet and seems really reliable. It's only been a few days but I haven't had any problems at all. I wanted to add that I don't play high end games but I do play Everquest II, Guild wars 1 and 2, and will be playing Aion 2. With the games I'm playing now there are no issues at all, smooth play and only with the original 32 ram stick.

Very pleased with this product. I have been using it mainly for gaming and no complaints in that department. Just a heads up though if planning on expanding storage, when opening the mini pc I recommend you unscrew the antenna wires as well. They will come apart when removing the cover and it was hard to snap them back in place. (I’m not a computer tech maybe that’s why)It can be done though but other than that I’m loving the GEEKOM MINI PC well worth the money it’s compact easy to setup and the speed is great very low noise level
