Initially, I was disappointed to see such a small PC after paying a desktop price. But it is surprisingly powerful, just like a true desktop. I am replacing my N100 based PC, which always run at 100% of its CPU rating, most of the time. With this one, chrome only rans at 2% of the CPU rating for most of my youtube viewing. It peaks at 7%. I bought N100 PC last year, because it is fanless, and I thought it should be enough for internet browsing. I was wrong about internet browsing. This one is running at such a low CPU rating, that I barely can hear the fan noise. So my N100 PC is a waste. Should have bought this last year. Update after 2 weeks of usage: At the lowest power, I can still hear the fan noise at night, not during the daytime. This is compared with fanless, so not too bad. It is a powerful PC. I installed VMWARE + Linux and used it for software development. It is pretty fast, when using all 16 threads. Fan noise is very noticeable when over 50-60% CPU utilization. I rarely need to run at this level. Mostly, it is at below 10% with unnoticeable noise (except late night). Haven't tried GPU or AI yet.

This is a powerful PC in a compact size. I have been using it for about a month now. I primarily use it for editing RAW photos (Affinity Photo), basic emailing, and web browsing. It has exceeded my expectations for speed. It takes about 10 seconds to fully boot up. Previously, working with RAW files, it would take a couple of minutes to open a file. Now, this is achieved in about 2 seconds. It has all of the ports that I need (the included SD card reader is especially helpful). The only slight downside is that the fan is audible if the environment is quiet, as I do have it about 18 inches from my face. I highly recommend and would definitely buy again if i needed another one.

I use this mini pc for photo editing and entertainment. It’s the perfect little machine for all that and has no trouble with any of these tasks. This is not for gaming and I would not recommend for that unless you plan to get an external GPU. It has all the processing power but not graphics power for gaming. Out of the box the fan was loud even at idle. I reached out to Geekom and they sent me a BIOS update that took care of the fan noise without any drop in performance. It’s easy to setup, also it took a while to setup because that just how windows setup process is. Added a 1TB SSD and a 128GB SATA to it which was easy. I’m yet to upgrade the RAM and if I plan to use it for gaming (with an external GPU) then I’ll swap the 128GB to 2TB for maximum storage.

I wanted to try a mini computer. I'd bought another brand based on price and specs that was DOA. I did a little more research and bought this one for just a little more than the first. The specs were a little better too. Geekom had good quality reviews which is why I chose this one. First impressions: Great packaging Solid build, good looking. Freakishly small. It has 2 HDMI ports built in and 2 USB c ports. I have old displayport monitors so I bought a adapter and plugged into the USB c. I plan to upgrade the monitors, which is why I wanted the HDMI ports There are no USB c on the front. This is a minor complaint, but it has no real impact. Since memory is cheap I upgraded to the full 64gb of ram which is easy to do, just unscrew the bottom. I plan to add another sshd, but note the open port is for the shorter m2 version. The more standard m2 version is taken with the existing one. Yes, I'd bought a standard long one to add, but I hadn't read the specs closely enough and had to send it back. Apparently I'm not as brilliant as I think I am. Here is my one real complaint, the fan is louder than expected. Of course this is in comparison to my work laptop which is basically silent. I will do some research and see if something can be done, but this has no impact on its function. Overall, it's a great computer for the price. The small size is just amazing too.

It was shipped in an elegant box. Could not wait to set it up. After set up, I was having one peripheral connection issue. I thought I would just contact tech support which I anticipated would be great to work with after looking at the beautiful packaging. 1st disappointment , when I called the tech support number I got the old leave your number and will call back. After waiting over 6 hours for a call back that never came, I tried there online chat support . The nature of the connection problem was not going to be solved by a bot so I asked for a real person the bot said I would be connected immediately. It actually took about 30 minutes for the real person to show up. I described the problem and they said hold on they needed to check something. I waited for over 3 hours before they came back to the chat box and when they did they ask for the model and serial #s. I provided that info and they said they would be right back with me , 2.5 hours later I got a message that customer service was closed for the day. I then paid for a tech guy to come over and he fixed the problem for me in 10minutes. So far I liked the computer but if you buy one know you totally on your own. Geekom would rather offend thousands with lousy service the just say they are not currently able to provide the product. I won't buy from them again.
