  • Super warm and weather resistant jacket. Super warm and weather resistant jacket.
Size: Large Color: Grey
This is a great jacket! It is lined with a soft synthetic fleece that really keeps you warm. Plus the outer shell is wind and water-resistant and insulated. The jacket is noticeably heavy, which I wasn’t expecting since it is a puffer jacket. It has zippered side pockets so your stuff doesn’t fall out and has an inside deep pocket. I love that the hood can zip off if not needed. I got the grey because it is my husband’s preferred color, but the olive is lovely and there are 6 colors to choose from. This will be great in the Sierra winters! It may be for men but I think it looks great on a woman also. ... show more

  • COMFORTABLE JACKET WITH GREAT POCKETS, BUT BETTER FOR SPRING AND FALL, *NOT* A COLD WINTER!
Size: Large Color: Black
I really like this jacket overall. It fits as expected, looks good on me, and has a comfortable, cozy feel that makes it easy to wear for everyday outings and errands. One of my favorite features is the number of pockets. There are plenty of places to store essentials, and the zippered pockets help keep things secure when I'm on the go. Despite being marketed as a winter jacket, I personally found it better suited for spring and fall weather. It provides decent protection from cool temperatures and wind, but it isn't thick or insulated enough for what I would consider a true winter coat, especially in colder climates. PROS * Comfortable and cozy to wear * Fits true to size * Attractive appearance * Lots of useful pockets * Hood provides additional weather protection * Lightweight enough for everyday use * Good for spring and fall temperatures * Easy to move around in IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS * Not as warm as I expected for a winter jacket * Better suited for spring, fall, or milder winter days * Those in colder climates may want a heavier coat * Warmth level may not match expectations based on the product title OVERALL IMPRESSION I enjoy wearing this jacket and am happy with it overall. The fit, comfort, appearance, and pocket design are all strong points. Just don't expect an ultra-warm winter coat. In my experience, it's an excellent jacket for spring, fall, and cool-weather use, but I'd reach for something heavier during the coldest winter days. ... show more

  • Sizing is off; short arms with long/wide torso Sizing is off; short arms with long/wide torso
Size: Large Color: Grey
This coat is such a disappointment. Not because it’s poorly constructed, but because it’s actually a great coat, but it’s one with a terrible cut. I took the recommendations to get a size up, and I’m glad I did. The problem is unfortunately not that simple. As far as I can tell, the sleeves are incredibly short, and likely the reason other people thought sizing up would be the answer. And the difference is staggering. The sleeves on a large are about as long (or short) as what I’d expect from a size small. I normally wear medium across the board, and sometimes I even fit smalls depending on the brand and cut. Getting a large was quite a gamble for me, but the sleeves are nowhere near long enough. This is a large, and the cuffs don’t even cover my entire wrist with my arms at my sides. That’s how short these sleeves are. This isn’t the whole story though, because the torso is exactly what I’d expect from a size large - that is, it’s wide, long, and billowy. You can tell this is meant to be more of a “jacket,” with the main body ending around the belt line. The size large falls far below the belt line, and since there’s an elastic band at the end, this creates a strange look that definitely doesn’t seem purposeful. I can’t help but think a size medium would fit around the torso like it was meant to, with the elastic band resting at or just below the belt line, like a true jacket cut should. To summarize, this coat (in size large) has sleeves from a size small and a body - or torso - from a size large. And this is all so disappointing because it’s otherwise well made. The fleece lining is thick, soft, and doesn’t shed, and there are numerous pockets littered inside and out. The outer layer is water resistant, and the coat overall is very comfortable to wear in cold weather. It protects against wind nicely, and the hood has plenty of head space without being oversized. It’s a great jacket, made from great materials, but it’s cut, designed, and stitched together by an incompetent person who clearly doesn’t know what a human being looks like. If you have very short arms and a wide torso, while also being 7 feet tall, then the size large is for you. For everyone else, look elsewhere. There’s probably no size you can buy that will leave you satisfied. I do not recommend this jacket. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised
Size: X-Large Color: Black
When I saw the description for this jacket it instantly checked all of my boxes. I live in Buffalo, NY so our seasons are extreme and the weather can fluctuate every other day. I have a large closet filled with jackets for different temperatures and this one surprisingly fits a niche! The jacket came vacuum sealed which concerned me at first, but after no time at all fully inflated and fits me perfectly. The inner lining is super soft and is very comfortable for those late spring nights where the weather is around 40 degrees. The hood is removable and features a elastic pulley system to close the hood around your face, should you need it to. The exterior is sleek and doesn't look cheap. I'm really impressed with the quality of this coat. I think it will hold up well for the winter, though I do have concerns when it comes to the liner surviving the wash. It's also listed as waterproof, but after enough soakage water definitely does get into the sleeves. So far I'm impressed especially at this price point, but we will have to see as time goes on. ... show more
