Not great if at a stopping point you’ll be walking around much. The media could not be loaded. They're super comfy! Form fitting and I can still flex my foot! (I followed the sizing recommendations of going a size or two down and these fit like a glove.. a foot glove! Lol) Totally feel protection where I need it, and comfort where I need that. These are super stylish and aren't even heavy for me to notice! I got the ones that aren't perforated so it'll hopefully keep me dry! I wore em out and these are super nice! The riding boots are a must have for riders! I am a daily rider (2013 Ducati monster 796) and I used to just wear regular boots. Had a friend get into a accident, long story short decided I should upgrade my footwear for the ride. After doing tons of research and comparisons I landed on these Alpinestars. I really love the Alpinestars SMX-1 gloves, and Ive owned 3 pairs of those, so I was leaning towards with going with them again for boots. I went with my TRUE SIZE 10.5. I wear a 10.5 in most all boots from work to western and these were no different. Pros - Lateral side ankle protection - CE lvl 2 boot - Aggressive design - Replaceable front slider, although not sure where I can purchase just yet - Sole so far feels great for walking around - Not super stiff, so break in as been pretty minimal - Shift panel padding to reduce wear - Very nice shin protector - Massive heel protection - Sweat absorbing interior fabric (works well in warm weather even though it feels like a snow boot) - Affordable Cons - Wish there was bit more ankle protection - Stiffer rear section to help prevent torquing - Not waterproof - Not a track boot, but great for the road To wrap it up, I wouldn't take it to the track, but it does the job perfectly on the street. ... show more
