Giving 2 stars only because 2-3 are more likely to be read. Immediately as I pulled it out of the package, the threads are already coming apart, see picture below. Try it on, yes it's small as others are saying. Worse, the zipper is both on the wrong side of the vest AND immediately did that thing where the zipping device slips up past the start of the zipper as if it's old and worn out, though it's clearly just a brand new piece of garbage. Tried it with a battery pack I'm using with another heated vest (and which works well). The vest got slightly warm for maybe 1 hour, nowhere near warm enough to call it a heated garment. Actually it made the battery itself hotter than any of the heating elements. Then the battery was dead. Absolute waste of my time and money, do not buy this unless the cost of copper somehow escalates higher than this product and you intend to strip it for scrap. I have been an amazon customer, begrudgingly, for over a decade. I can easily say this is the most comprehensively worthless product I've ever purchased on the site. ... show more

I like the fact it is snug and gives good heat in the right spots. It is perfect for a person that works traffic control. Unfortunately the only problem I had was it did not come with the battery pack.

This vest was absolute garbage. To start I bought a 6x just to make sure it fit well no matter what I was wearing. I wear a 2/3x jacket and this vest didn’t event come close to fitting me. It was like trying to put on a medium shirt. So then I figured OK it’s too small. It still fits around my back which I mostly wanted coverage for when it’s cold on my back. I grab a USB pack and the buttons don’t work at all. It won’t turn on it won’t change settings I plugged it into a USB outlet and sat on the floor and it still didn’t work. Return for a full refund. I bought 2 vests and their suggested battery to compare. Overall, visually I liked this vest better. The zipper is a little delicate, and I was afraid I was going to damage it more than once. The vest has the battery in the front left inside pocket, leaving your hand free in the outside pocket. The collar pokes me under the chin, I hope it relaxes The controls are easy to operate. It was recommended I get a size up, but I chose not to and it is snugger than the other vest. I could have chosen the next size up. I wear a T-shirt and dress shirt underneath. There are 2 issues. The vest goes into standby mode before it gets good and hot The battery last a couple of days, but when I put it on the charger, 2 of the 4 lights are solid. Well, I do enjoy the warmth provided by this vest. It did not come with a battery, so the ones I had here did not work with it. I had to order a different type of battery. And now, after less than two months, the stitching is starting to fray, so I have strings coming from everywhere which I’m not a fan of at all but the heating part still works. I think it might have a it might have an auto shut off because a couple times, I have looked down and it’s off. and I haven’t shut it off, but I looked down in the lights are out. ... show more

I'm a short woman and weigh about 150 pounds. I bought a large and it fits very snuggly but not uncomfortable. I am cold all of the time but this vest keeps me warm. I turned on both zones yesterday about 10:30 am and it was still keeping me warm at 3:30 when I was back in my car and using the heater. When my hands get cold I put them in my pockets and they get toasty warm. I tried on some heated vests at Home Depot (to determine the size I need) and they were heavy. When this vest arrived it was so light that I thought I had ordered the wrong item. It is a little heavier with the battery but no more than my cell phone. I suggest an extra battery in case you go out for a longer time than expected. ... show more
