I was looking for something to keep me warm during my son's baseball practices in the late evening at the tail end of winter in February. Believe it or not it gets rather cool here in Northern California in the evenings and at night, at least based on what we are used. I was concerned this jacket would be too warm as most reviewers were in snow with 20 degree and below weather and some saying 0 degree weather and it kept them warm. Thought it might be overkill. Took a chance and this jacket is way nice for the price, very warm, and looks great. At 40-50 degrees, I was very comfortable even with a sweatshirt on underneath. Not too hot or anything. And bonus is whenever we go to the snow, I'll be ready ready with this guy. Sizing is perfect at a Large, I'm 6 foot at 220 pounds and I almost got an XL but I'm glad I got the large, an XL would be too baggy and probably look sloppy and not be as warm. 5 Stars ... show more

This jacket will keep you warm during the cold in fact I tend to get a little overheated when wearing it at times. Such a beautiful color and everyone told me that they love the sky blue color. This is not the finest coat out there, but it's a very good one anywhere near the (sale) price. It's replacing an excellent (and pricey) worn-out barn coat, and doesn't quite measure up to that high standard, but is very good for its cost. It's almost as warm, it's lighter, and feels very nice. It seems to be reasonably water-resistant. The sizing is a bit disappointing, as it's narrower at hip level than its same-size predecessor, a bit of a problem when wearing heavy-ish clothing under it, and similarly the sleeves are rather tight. It could use more and/or larger pockets, for heavy gloves etc., but I can work with what it has. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase. we bought another for my wife. Really warm, really comfortable, really cheap. This is a nice coat for $50. We got ours for work as we have to get out and drive and work in the snow.
