Initially had my doubts when my brother showed me this prior to & let me use this Mess Kit during our camping trip, I now own one myself. This thing is durable, dishwasher & microwaveable safe, more importantly this thing is cool! Overall compact, great bang for your buck, easy to clean & can be used as 1 or 2 "plates" if you will. Definitely planning on purchasing a few more of these for myself. Highly recommend for anyone who camps, whether novice or avid campers a like. You will not regret this purchase! (Side note, those looking for "AIR TIGHT" seal to that of a "vacuum sealed bag" this is not it. HOWEVER, the seal in itself is pretty good/solid. nothing spills or leaks out of mine, esp. if you take good care of it.)

I bought four of these total and now my brother has also bought one as they're THAT useful. They just bind together so well, don't take up much space, and give you two plates essentially and a fork/spoon in one small package. I use this camping, hunting and fishing trips that involve more camping, and I cannot stress how useful this is.

I really only have positive things for this review. So I will get the con out of the way. I really don’t like the little string that supposed to be attached maybe it’s because I don’t know how to attach it. Lol. Other than that I just love this set. It seems to be microwavable, heatproof as I have use the spoon and fork to turn food in my mini cookers, very durable, lightweight and an overall wonderful purchase. If there was anyone else traveling around with me I would purchase another one.

Very nice mess kit for taking food to go. The seal is tight, keeping liquids in. I wouldn't attempt soup, probably, but pastas with sauce do not leak. It's a good portion size for one person. I like that the kit is dishwasher and microwave safe, so you can transport/cook/eat all from the same container. It cleans up quick and easy. Bought one for my wife, and she loves hers too!

I've been using this kit pretty much on a daily basis at work for a few months now and it works as intended. The one caveat is that it must lay flat during storage if you have anything liquid inside. I packed a small salad with dressing and put the mess kit vertically in my cooler and the salad dressing leaked out. I still recommended buying this if you're in the market for it. Oh, and the spork...love it!
