This robe is soooooo soft and plush! But what really surprised me was how lightweight it is! Compared to my all cotton terrycloth bathrobe, this feels like a gentle hug. It’s like switching from a wool coat to a down coat: same warmth, totally different experience. The color isn’t quite charcoal, it’s more of a dark medium gray with a subtle green undertone in real life. There’s a hanger loop (thank you!), and while there’s only one set of belt loops, that’s perfectly fine. It’s super comfy, warm, and true to size, though it does shrink a bit, so size up if you’re on the fence. Laundering is different from standard cotton towels: skip the fabric softener or it’ll stiffen up. A gentle wash and standard dry cycle work great. This arrives in a branded plastic bag with a thick white cotton ribbon, which makes it gift ready without extra wrapping, but a gift bag would make this special. FYI, Cozy Earth also offers a waffle weave robe, but this isn’t that, and I prefer this plushier material, especially in winter.

O MY GOODNESS! This is the most THICKEST ROBE I have ever encountered in my entire life! What the what?! It is SUPER LUSH, with a nice heavy weight to it and incredibly, luxuriously SOFT! The Viscose and Cotton, yes please. Since it is a Unisex garment, I ordered XS but I am not tiny LOL. I weigh 125-130 lbs and am 5'3". My poor waist is 28" has seen better days. The XS fit well, still a little oversized and long for my taste , but it fit. I snuggled in this for over an hour after showering then finally had to kick myself to get dressed. The luxurious COZY EARTH robe has excellent absorbency, of course I towel dried first. At no time did I feel like I drowned (nor damp) wet rat in it, I felt dry and cozy. This robe is a beast , it is the KING of robes, I declare it! I have other robes (one which starts with famous letter U..) which I always thought were great--BUT, THIS ROBE oh yessss, it sure beat that U in all areas of softness, absorbency, craftsmanship, design, warmth, comfort, quality, thickness! Extremely HIGH quality. I am not kidding, I will never go anywhere else for robe shopping! Absolutely WORTH MY MONEY!!!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING week to everyone, cheers! Reviewing Cozy Earth Luxe Bath Robe – We sleep with a Cozy Earth blanket in winter and it is the favorite blanket for both of us. It is thick and luxurious, keeps us warm without overheating us and due to being as heavy as it is, it’s like being wrapped in a warm, soft, loving hug over our whole bodies. I knew this robe would be just as nice. I’m happy to report that it is! It is not heavy or super thick, like the blanket, but it is the perfect weight and thickness for a year-round robe. It’s even nicer than the robes they offer for use at the spa. The material is mostly cotton, is very soft, and the belt stays closed when you tie it. The pockets are nice and large and don’t close over each other due to good placement. I prefer oversized robes, so I sized up and it’s the perfect, oversized feel for me. If I liked my robes to fit normally, I could’ve ordered my normal size and it would fit as it should. I’ve never had a robe as nice and comfortable as this one is.
