The size is WAY off, im a big guy so I got a 6x, when I put it on it felt like a 3x I couldn't get it to zip up, I double checked the size to make sure even took a picture to post here, the size isn't slightly off it's way way off

I got this vest for my mom. She works at a Costco in NJ and in the winter it is freezing inside. I got her 2 batteries just to make sure she is warm on the days she works, but she only uses 1. She loves the vest.

For the price it’s a good product. I have lots of batteries around the house and I knew it didn’t come with one. It has relatively a lot of heating elements. Doesn’t get overly hot, but if you’re looking for something that will be enough to let you go outside to walk the dog in the cold weather or sit outside at sunset when it’s chilly, this works for me. I put it under and as many layers on top as appropriate for the conditions. Gotta remember to turn it back onto high after a few minutes because it switches to medium to preserve energy. It does use a lot of energy and probably wouldn’t last more than a couple hours on a regular size battery, but I don’t usually spend more than that outside anyway. I’ve also tried it while motorcycling in cool weather and it definitely warmed my core and helped me stay comfortable. The one at Costco comes with a battery but only has like four heating elements, this one has like 11 so it really keeps you warm all around. If I wear it inside, I overheat quickly. It likes to be worn outside. Again, I agree with those reviews that say it’s not overly powerful, but it’s enough to really make a difference for those of us who are getting maybe too old to enjoy being outside in the mornings and evenings, even though we’d like to be outside generally. I pressed the return button shortly after I owned it, but after I’ve worn it a couple times and used it in December, I’m keeping it. It’s totally worth it for the money and I’m probably gonna use it a lot this winter. It’s like an electric version of the chemical heating you put in your pockets and gloves, not as strong, but the battery recharging makes it easily reusable. And if you really want to direct connect it to the DC power connector option, it can get even hotter, but I haven’t tried that because it’s not necessary. I’m outside at the moment in 50° weather. And I am cozy, comfy from this electric heating vest. ... show more

Haven't been able to use it the way it was directly intended just yet, but my thing is, a NO BATTERY INCLUDED should be listed at the beginning of the information...didn't realize i didn't have one for this vest till after I got it and was lil upset till I read through everything..............down at the very bottom it says no battery comes with it. Other than that, I got a 3x size, I've lost weight and on the verge of going to 2x clothes soon, but this fits snug, so I think its cut a little small. Without the battery, under another jacket this is still keeping my stomach and chest warm. Will see how it does when I get my battery (which is an additional expense) the price was ok for what I got it for. ... show more
