Let me tell you about this little machine. Recently we have become empty nester...I know I know..thought my world was ending at first but now we have to ask the kids when they plan on leaving. We had to figure out how to cook for just the two of us. This countertop oven/air fryer is perfect for us. I no longer use our oven unless it's a large amount of food or big batches of cookies. We can cook our meat and veggies at the same time and clean up is a breeze. I really like that it's not only an oven but it's an air fryer, a toaster and a broiler all in one.     • it's ok as an oven but not impressed with the air frying
I was looking to replace my Breville toaster oven (that still works great) and my air fryer that the teflon was coming off of and I didn't like that. The idea of having one appliance on my counter was very appealing! This works great as a second oven. It toasts well, broils fine, cooks a fine pizza, but the air fryer component is less than desired. It doesn't work nearly as well with a roast chicken or veggies as an air fryer does. It cooks very hot so things can get dry or burnt. I think it has to do with the fact that it circulates air too much and it's not as enclosed, but I'm not sure. I've been experimenting with it for a couple of months. I've tried using different pans but we've had to move things to a fry pan to get the desired results and even still that means I'm using more pots and pans and fixing things, so it kinda defeats the purpose. I probably got spoiled with my old air fryer that worked amazing, minus the teflon. Looks like I'm looking for a new ceramic air fryer to put on my counter, but it's better than less than ideal results time after time. ... show more

Amazing product until you're 5 months in and it stops working completely and won't even turn on. Like others have said, have tried contacting the company directly and contacting the seller and nothing. Paying this much money for something, you expect at least a year or two functionality especially when the description says 1 yr manufacturers warranty. ... show more

So far, so good. This is my first appliance of this type, and I did a lot of research. Selling points include: Non-toxic. Stainless steel inside and out. (Harder to find these without potentially toxic coatings, than one might think!) Reviews indicate that Geek Chef stands behind their products. This is very important! Spacious enough for what I need, but still possible to fit into my small kitchen. And, I really prefer the simple dials — both the look and the function. First thing I’ve just cooked is a simple piece of fish. One of my goals was to stop having to use and heat my big oven, for small things like this. And boy did it work for that — so much faster than using a big gas oven for the purpose. And, it didn’t heat the kitchen like the big oven. I’ll add more details about how it works for other things, as I try them out. ... show more

    • Don't purchase this air fryer if you'd like it to work more than a year!
Buyer beware!! Purchased this air fryer in April of 2023. Here we are in May of 2024 and the only function that works is the toast option. It won't bake, air fry, broil, etc. After paying $180 for an appliance, this is unacceptable to me! I contacted Geekchef support and have yet to get a response. I have researched this issue and apparently it is more common than not with this brand. I cannot recommend this product to anyone based on my experience with both the machine and lack of customer service. ... show more

There was a loud vibration sound that other mentioned but I realized it was from the cord. So when I move the plug and cord the vibration noise would stop. I wish the bottom tray was coated better. After a few uses it has stains that won’t go away. So I wish I used foil to cover it up completely. Other than that it’s a great air fryer and works fast. ... show more
