Although sharp looking and well packaged the jack base is taller than the Alcan I bought from Costco...20years ago! It doesn't fit as well as it could under my cars, fits fine under my SUV. Very solid can lift my suv and full size pick up with no issues. The only con to this is the casters I do wish the rear where a bit large for when I need to move it around my shop up to my garage. The GEARWRENCH 3.5 Ton Low Profile Floor Jack is a great product. It has attractive colors, and it’ll take a beating over time since the parts are powder coated. The jack is extremely heavy, the Amazon weight says 100 pounds, and I believe it. It is significantly heavier than a 3 ton jack I have. This gives me plenty of faith in the lifting weight capacity, and quality of construction. It lifted my rear end of my full size truck with no problems. It rolled around easily on its casters. Keep in mind since it is low profile, the casters will be smaller than a non-low profile jack in order to get under smaller gaps. The jack included a jack pad, which is a great addition that many will appreciate not having to buy one on their own. The handle of the jack was longer given the extended low profile reach of the jack, and it had a padded part around the middle, and at the top, a textured grip to assist in closing or opening the pressure to allow the jack to raise and lower.
