Although sharp looking and well packaged the jack base is taller than the Alcan I bought from Costco...20years ago! It doesn't fit as well as it could under my cars, fits fine under my SUV. This floor jack replaces a 15 year old unbranded and unrated (no safety info) floor jack. I purchased a much heavier mid-size SUV and at 2.5 tons, I could not trust the old jack to be safe. Jack came missing the snap ring that holds the side lever onto the jack arm beside the jack pad. The box mustve been in Amazons storage awhile, it had a computer mouse in it and evidence of warehouse mice, other than that great jack. i'd buy it again!
