There are only two things that are not good about this light. First, it is heavy compared to the more expensive lights on the market. Second, you have to rivet it to the cap. The light is so good, we ended up putting it on a hard hat so that was no big deal. Just be prepared to figure out how to attach it to a hat. I've had mine 4 years now, use it every day, and it's still working great! It does everything the description says it'll do. It certainly doesn't lack for power it'll shine several hundred yards away at least and it's dimmable. I originally got mine because I walk my dogs at night and this allows me to keep my hands on the dogs leash while still being able to see. I have never tried using the red and green lenses in fact I forgot I even had them until now. Overall one of the best value gadgets I've ever bought. I actually came back here today trying to see if this company sold any other type of lights because I'm in need of a good scope mounted light. ... show more

This is by far the Brightest and Best Made light I've ever owned. The Hat could use a little more padding on the forehead area. I've also heard some people say they took the entire battery and light assembly and mounted it on a hard hat. Not a bad idea. I had a small issue with a crack on the battery retaining clip. They were very responsive and backed their product by replacing the part in a very expeditious manner at no charge. Truth be told, I would have gladly paid for the part. The light is that good. I hoped as I am paying for a new product I would receive a new one. But that was only a hope. Like many other times the product was used.That lamp was with oily fingerprints on it. I am sick of all that. Product is going to the garbage. Such a stupid waste of money for me.
