    • Pretty good safe - as long as you know what you're getting.
I've seen that some people say that the fingerprint scanner allows all fingerprints. That is not true! You have to read the instructions and I don't think those people are! Also, the fingerprint scanner works, it's just that you have to place your finger on the scanner in the exact same way you had it record your fingerprint, otherwise, it won't work! Also, some say the walls are "paper thin" or "the same thickness as a filing cabinet." I would say it's a little thicker than a filing cabinet, and I know because I have it placed next to my filing cabinet. I used a caliper to measure and it is 1/16th of an inch thick. To visualize that, think of a penny. 1/16th of an inch is about 2.8mm and a penny is about 2.5mm. so slightly thicker, although probably not visible with the naked eye. Now that that's out of the way..... This safe is a good safe for the money. It's definitely not high end and if you want one of those, then save up. This safe is a bit wobbly as others have said. It is supposed to be bolted to the floor and wall. I cannot do that because I rent my home and cannot damage the floor or wall so I put some weights down on the bottom and it works great! I also sandwiched it between my filing cabinet and my desk so it stands still. Like I said, supposed to be bolts but what I did works too. So either plan on bolting it or weight it down. Know that this isn't 100% secure, and nothing is. This safe is good for keeping kids out (which is what I got it for) and most thefts it looks like. I could see that if someone was strong and determined enough they may be able to break into it with tools or carry it if more than one person. However, with my home security system, which included audio and visual surveilance, I'd know right away and I would alert law enforcement. So if you. want a decent safe, mostly worth the money, and you know what you are getting, AND you carefully read the instructions, then this is a great choice. Quicktec gun safe is a very quality safe its very sturdy and high grade quality and you definitely can't pick the lock like other safes which is a definitely a A+++ in my books and it's definitely roomy if you place your guns right and it's definitely roomy at the top in the storage compartment I thought it would have a secret compartment in there as well which low yall should 😍. It's definitely tall the alarm on your safe definitely work and it's loud and the finger print scanner definitely works thanks for this because it comes in handy. So for sure I well be purchasing another one or 2 unless they sponsor me and send me 1 for free I'll absolutely will accept that. I gave it 3 stars but probably somewhere between 2-3. I bought this because it was small and fit in the limited space I had in a small closet. This is an inexpensive safe so you can expect too much, but with the exception of the door, the other three sides are little more than sheet metal. Also the entry system is very inconsistent. There I a finger print option that I found to work maybe one in every 5-10 attempts which is frustrating. the number key in was very hard to program and did not seem to work well either so in many cases I used the entry key. There is an additional locking compartment inside that is about 8x6x4" for valuables or a pistol, but again this is very, very thin steel. I came from a much larger better quality Steelwater safe so I may be bias with a much less expensive gun safe that is clearly not a true gun safe. ... show more

Not really a safe. Someone that is motivated could tear this thing apart. Rather thin metal. But this is just what I needed to lock my 3 long guns. Love the small compartment at the top, perfect for ammo or small items. The gun safe is now bolted onto the wall and floor, (both made out of wood). It will make it difficult for teens, children, and casual perps to access the weapons. The finger print reader may require a couple of tries ... show more

I needed a smaller safe for another room in the house, with enough space for some equipment, and quick biometric access. This safe for the bill perfectly. While it is on the lighter side, I knew I would have to drill a hole for the dryer rod wire, so I went ahead and drilled a few extra holes in the back of the same, and mounted on a backing solid wood board. This made it very sturdy and secure. The space is rough and I installed a door organizer as well, which is also sold here on Amazon. All in all it was perfect for what I needed. The delivery was quick and right to my front door. The safe is light enough that I moved it inside and had it installed quickly. I "timed" the order so the delivery would be in a Saturday when I was home and could bring it in fairly quickly after delivery. I still want to install some weather stripping to make the door seal better and reduce the noise when opening and closing. ... show more

This is the worst ever I have had this for only months now it want open at all I have all my money and guns stuck in this safe and not only does the key not work the finger print or pin code opens this safe and I don't even open it at all it's been opened around 6 times since purchase now it doesn't even open no matter what you do and customer service is no help at all I get a message every 7 days to try these different things ive sent a video trying everything as proof and still no comment don't waste your hard earned money on trash🤬🤬 ... show more
