I bought this a few years ago as a temporary fix on the skylight in my office. I set the new pieces of glass with it in 2007 and am just now resetting the entire bank of windows. The piece set with this ten years ago was just kind of jammed in with tons of this caulk until I could get around to making all the stained glass I needed. But this week when I went to tear it out it was still holding well against multiple layers of other broken glass, tar paper from previous roofs, and any number of other tiny debris that had managed to work its way in. It was ten years old and wasn't used in anything close to ideal circumstances and it was really difficult to break the seal. These skylights are far from ideal either - they are the steel framed industrial skylights that one finds in early 20th century buildings that are KNOWN for leaking. But this stuff really holds well through the Chicago seasons and just does a great job. I finished the stained glass and am now installing them properly with this caulk and am still just as thrilled as I was before. It doesn't dry *entirely* clear, however. It isn't glassy clear, but cloudy clear. It does blend well with whatever color is against it though. Will use it to replace other skylights as I redo them. It's pretty good caulking . Especially if you think you are getting 2 tubes of clear for the same price of one of the other colors . You only get one tube though . This stuff is a great sealant and no mold works great in bathroom and kitchen

Was easy to use and work with. Used to seal a previously caulked space between house gutters and trim. The original caulking was installed about 20 years ago. This product was solid the next day and would probably hold up the gutters without screws. I did have to tighten 80 % of the screws as I did the work. Awesome product. ... show more

I used this to seal the brick/concrete interface on my outdoor stairs. I used backing rod to fill the 1/2" gap. This stuff flowed evenly and dried a bit cloudy. I expect it to last several years. 100% silicone sealant can be very expensive at your local hw store, and many don't even carry the real thing. I like the bulk price of this caulk and expect to use it down the road for other projects. ... show more
