This is a review for Silicone Caulk, 100% Silicone Waterproof Sealant Adhesive Caulking Tool for RV Marine Home Window Roof Door Kitchen Bathroom Bathtub Shower Auto Leak Seal, White, 9.5 oz Cartridge, 4 Packs. This caulk seems decent but only time will tell with discoloration. I hadn’t used caulk before that came with a precut opening, but I can’t say I’m not happy about that. The caulk came out well, and it seems to stick to both surfaces well. So far, I have to say I am happy with the caulk. As long as it last and doesn’t discolor, I will be pleasantly surprised. I am not happy about the lack of it settling and, not having a tool, I had to use my finger which only made for a messy situation. ... show more

    • Dries quickly, but not paintable
I used this to install a couple of 50 amp RV outlets on some out buildings. Cut through the siding to the underpayment and then after getting the wire in place, applied the silicon to the outlet box and screwed the Box into place. The material flattened out nicely and beaded up around the edges of the box. Used a wet grout trimmer to get a nice flat bead. Was getting stiff as I was finishing and an hour later, it felt dry. Remember this is not to be used for structural adhesion. Just as a water seal. According to the accompanying information, this should NOT be used where it is in long term contact with water. So, no aquarium use. Waited a day and then tried to use some wall paint to touch up the trim. No go there. Like all silicon, this did not want to be painted. That is fine since I have a nice bead and it looks good. This does NOT come with any cap, so you will want to have something available to cap it if you do not plan to use it in one shot. This product has a shelf life of only 12 months!! So, check the expiration dat that is printed on it. This does not have the life that other products like this have had in the past. Each tube comes with a single spout!! Even if it did come with extra spouts, there is NO cap to close off the tube to save contents. ... show more

    • Affordably-priced, solid-quality caulk
I was replacing a couple bathroom sinks and needed to seal around the edges. It was not a demanding job and this caulk worked just fine. There was no trouble getting it smoothly out of the tube to form a nice line. It adheres well to both the countertop and the sink. I had no need to paint it, so that restriction wasn't a limitation. It is too soon to know whether the caulk will discolor or crack. For now, it looks nice enough. Each tube comes with a separate open funnel tip that screws on to the top of the tube after you've opened it. It's different than most tubes of caulk that I've used in which you just snip off the tip and was a bit more of a hassle than I expected, but not a big deal. ... show more

If it is quantity you need this will fit the bill. You get 4 tubes of 100% silicone waterproof sealant adhesive caulking. There are some issues, however. First, the applicator supplied with caulk comes with a precut opening that is far too wide and not at a 45-degree angle. This makes laying the bead seriously messy; which is made worse by the fact that the caulk does not flatten out when you run your finger along it. Rather it sticks to your finger and makes a mess. used this caulk around a sink and so far no issues. it was just as annoying to apply as other caulks because I suck at it, and it smells bad, because it's caulk.

This PAULINN Silicone Caulk will do the job. We used it in our bathroom around the tub, and in our rv around the sink. It adheres well and was fine to use the area the next day. Obviously, since it is silicone, it is not paintable. It’s not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but you do get a bit less than you do in most other brands.     • Unusual nozzle, but workable pure silicone caulk
Like other 100% silicone caulks I've used, this is ideal for bathroom or outdoor use but is not paintable. The included nozzles are removable from the cartridge (via a threaded fitting) and pre-cut with a 1/8" opening, but you can use a utility knife to increase or angle the opening since the applicator attachment is tapered. I often reseal partially used caulk for future use so this design is not ideal for reuse and the maker specifically recommends not storing an opened tube. However, the current price per cartridge is lower than most other 100% silicone caulks which makes it a compelling choice for jobs that need a full cartridge to complete. ... show more
