One thing is for certain and two things are for sure, I can never figure out manual timers. This has to be the simplest timer to set up. The hardest part is removing the plastic over the battery.     • Really nice! Just a bit complicated
Works really really well! Haven’t had any problems with it. HOWEVER, on the first day when I set it up I had one little issue. I set my timer to 8am-Midnight, but had to change it to 7pm-Midnight due to the fact that it would not activate due to it being 6:50pm. Had to change the timer again early next morning BACK to 8am-Midnight and it worked no problem. That one little glitch was weird BUT I haven’t had any problems since! ... show more

    • A good product for the money
Reliable and easy enough to setup I was pleased to use these with my grow lights. It has seven days to choose from and you can choose some presets as well as make your own. This above mentioned is very helpful for whatever it is your growing, especially if it needs a photoperiod to change (cough cough cannabis) {except Auto Gang😎} As I said you can save what happens to what day and go from there, spec it to your liking, then just walk off. There’s no instructions included with the used on that I chose, but it still wasn’t hard once I wrapped my head around it. The outlets work well and the covers closing is a welcome edition especially for ( cough cough high humidity 🌧️gang) especially if in a grow tent or somewhere humid (like near a humidifier. Point being it’s a compatible and well designed product and I’d be glad to purchase another one. Definitely worth the money for the grounding also, said switch is also equipped with batteries in the back to preserve your settings in case of outage. ... show more

    • Programming was tricky
This is a sturdy timer that at this point has lasted 4 months working without flaw, at least once we figured out how to program it properly, on our lizards cage, controlling a flood light, a head lamp and 2 different types of UVA/B lights under a thermostat. It’s a totally new product to me and so far, one I would not mind buying again. Eager to see how much longer it lasts ... show more

    • Timer stopped working properly in less than 3 months.
I got this for my Uromastyx enclosure for the lights. I have it set to come on at 6am and go off at 6pm. After first everything was fine. Now it isn't coming on at the time. It is coming on in the middle of the night when on auto. But I only have just those programs set. I went through and checked that the other programs are clear. I have unplugged it and reset it. It still won't work with the timer. Now I have to manual turn it off and on. That is the whole point of the timer, so I don't have to do that. I also am not home at 6pm so now the lights don't get turned off until much later. I am also past the return window. This is a hassle. For the price I would have thought it would have lasted longer. I am now on the hunt for a new timer. Don't purchase this!! ... show more

Needed a good timer surge protector for my bearded dragon. The directions are very clear and I’ve been running it for a few days now.     • Doesn’t always work.
We’ve had this timer for a while now. When it works it works great. But there’s been time it’ll suddenly stop accessing the timer regardless of settings. This could go on for a week or more then randomly it’ll work again. It always allows electricity to flow it’s just the timer that stops working. It’s time we go another direction. ... show more
