The media could not be loaded. I have I 2009 Chevy Silverado crew cab z71 5.8 bed... I ordered the one that goes up to 2006 classic one. 5.8 bed. The manufacturer told me it wouldn’t fit, but it fits very well, nice seal too! Easy install 10 mins. So far it seems like pretty good quality, the clamps are a little cheaply, but I plan on maybe changing them. I just tightened the clamps a little past firm because I know if you tighten them really tight they will break, or bend the frame. Overall very nice product for the price! Also if you register the vinyl comes with a 10 year warranty. Also I’ve only had this for a couple hours so I have no idea of longterm use. ... show more

I purchased this cover for my 2009 Chevy Silverado, to keep leaves, spring seedlings, snow and rain out of my truck bed. The cover was delivered packaged well and pre assembled which makes installation a breeze. I’m a 56 year old woman and had no issues lifting the cover, not heavy at all. The screw on clamps at the cab end are easy to adjust and tighten, the lever clamps by the tailgate were a little trickier but still very simple to adjust and the whole system feels secure. I ended up taking my truck for a drive to see how it reacted to wind and there was no additional noise. Very sturdy quality product for the cost. Highly recommend. ... show more

Cover is good, fairly easy to install. I used some spring clamps to hold the rails in place while clamping. Speaking of clamps, they suck. I think you need two more on an 8' bed, and they are simply miserable to deal with due to their design. I ended up buying a set of truxedo clamps (they make or at least distribute the gator) and I also used the original clamps. Six clamps on each side, not going anywhere and I think it helps seal the rail to the bed. I did buy this from Amazon warehouse so I had already saved $75, didn't feel to bad about the extra clamp cost. $28. The problem I ran in to, after mounting the rails, went to install the front header and tarp, the left header plug was missing. I went ahead and installed and figured I would get this plug and install it later. I contacted Amazon and they would only let me send the whole thing back, would not send the missing $3 part. Dumb. So I contacted Gator (Truxedo) and they wouldn't replace it either since it was purchased thru warehouse. They deem it "used", although it showed no sign of ever being installed. They did however, sell me the part, $3 and change plus $5 freight. I thought that was fair, they probably packed it properly originally, somewhere in the return process was lost. So Gator cover-4+stars- went thru the car wash twice, no water. I would buy again at list price and buy the clamps. I would like to see them just raise the price a little and upgrade the clamps plus add 2 more for 8' bed. Truxedo-5 stars-They were awesome to deal with and a huge help. Amazon warehouse-2 stars-Price was right but what a tremendous waste of time and energy shipping stuff back and forth. ... show more

This item was east to install and works great. The installation instructions were a little confusing to me but once you figure it out it installs easily, can be easily removed and re-installed and it folds up well for above bed use when needed. I'm a satisfied customer!

I didn’t expect much from this considering the price, but I was thoroughly surprised. I bought it for a trip to Colorado from Missouri (14 hours), I had just bought the truck and needed something quick and came across this. I’ve had it for about a month now and it held up great on my trip, kept all my stuff dry, got rain, snow and sleet on the way. I’ve also taken it through the car wash several times (probably not recommended by manufacturer) but it did great there too my bed was empty at the time but I don’t think it got wet in there then either. Also super simple to install, took me 10 minutes in the dark with a cell phone flash light. Also lightweight so I can pop it off and store it easily if I need the bed room. ... show more

This is a very easy tonneau to install, the only thing I can say is a second person would be nice to have to hold the rails as you install the clamps. Instructions are well detailed and pics definitely help. I’ve installed 2 of these over the years and these are the best for the buck! I ordered the warehouse “return” it was completely new but the box was banged up pretty good! All good anyways! ... show more
