    • Great cooktop
Works great after a little tinkering and the manual is very well written. Initially the big burner would not light all the "ports" but after adjusting the gas pressure (which is written in the manual) it works great now. The location of the gas connection wasn't ideal for my installation location in my RV but it's now working. The gas connection is a 1/2" MPT nipple in the back right corner and it faces directly aft and it is not adjustable or bendable. There also isn't room to be able to screw on a 1/2" elbow. There is a connection fitting that comes with the cooktop but it is designed to be connected to a flexible rubber hose. My RV has 3/8" copper tubing and a flare fitting. A trip to Home Depot and a $7 brass fitting (3/8" male flare to 1/2" FPT) and some pipe dope solved the problem. The electric ignition is nice but not required. The burners can be lit manually with a match, aim-n-flame, etc. There are some really sharp metal edges so be careful during installation. The installed orifices were for natural gas. In the box were 4 additional orifices in a plastic bag labeled "LPG." All 8 orifices have very small numbers stamped on them to go with the different-sized burners so get a magnifying glass or use your phone's camera to zoom in and verify size. the seller was just right about this product. this is not a luxurious stovetop, but it does exactly what is made for to cook. compact stovetop, easy to install, no need to be an engineer to put it together. as a matter of fact is already assemble just hook the propane or natural gas line into the item and you are set for years to enjoy. this is my first time buying from this seller, the seller did not overcharged for shipping this item. it is nice and very good overall. ... show more

    • Very good cooktop with one big problem
I love this cook top but it doesn't come with any hoses for your LPG or NG I did the propane conversion really easily but it took me weeks to find the adapters to hook the thing up to a propane tank. If they just included a hose that connects to a standard propane tank this would easily be a 5 star product. ... show more

The only thing that I had trouble with was the hose size, but I got it to work.

    • Fitting on unit does not fit standard pipe size 1/2 inch IPT, cannot connect
I bought two of these units. The connector on the actual unit does not fit a standard 1/2 inch pipe fitting, IPT, and I am unable to connect either one of these units. The connections are British, however, these are sold in the US stating they come with conversion connectors. They do not and the are not usable. We are remodeling two homes. So, we bought these units and they sat until a few weeks ago. The plumbers had never seen this thread pattern and connectors are NOT included as stated on Amazon advert.
