Right out of the box you can tell that this is a solid, well built chainsaw. It is easy to start and easy to use. Runs well and smoothly. It quickly cuts through large branches and tree trunks. This chainsaw is a beast! The 62CC engine has plenty of power and the 20-inch bar makes cutting through big logs and trees really easy. It starts up pretty quickly and runs smoothly once it’s going. Definitely a bit heavy, but that’s expected with this size of chainsaw. If you’re looking for something strong and reliable for yard work or cutting firewood, this one does the job really well.

I was only able to make about five cuts through a 20" log before this saw stopped working entirely. It ran very rich and lacked power during the first few cuts, so I adjusted the carburetor. After the adjustment, it performed better on the fourth cut, but then died during the fifth and now it won’t start at all. It doesn’t even attempt to fire up. Very disappointed with the reliability. Unfortunately I can't return it either! Update: 7/4/25 piston and rings are scored on the exhaust side. Don't run this saw 50:1 even though that is what is stated on the saw. Probably run 40:1 or 32:1 and set the carb to run rich to avoid heat issues.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my husband because whenever a tree dies in our yard we take it down ourselves. We have been using a very small chainsaw and it was very difficult. I was tired of seeing him suffer with the small chainsaw and I wanted to get him something bigger and better. I didn't know much about chainsaws so I read a lot of reviews and compared many of them here on Amazon. I really liked this one because it's specifically mentioned being good for felling trees and cutting firewood. It was much larger than the one we have now and upon opening the box I was very pleased with what I saw. It's much heavier than ours, very solid and sturdy. There's nothing cheap about this one, it really seems to be a quality product. The chain came separate from the blade but I will let my husband put that on. It comes with a bag of adjustment tools and an instruction booklet. I like that it mentions that it has high engine performance but low kickback as I don't want my husband to get hurt. It also delivers a steady supply of oil to the chain which even I know is important for the life of the product. It also uses 20% less fuel consumption which I know will make my husband very happy. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and my husband says I picked a really good product.

Gas Chainsaws 20 Inch 62CC. Easy to assemble, but make sure you put the chain on correctly with the cutting edge pointed in the right direction. Due to high winds my neighbors tree was knocked into my yard. Was placed on a waiting list for a local company to come and remove the tree. I ordered the chainsaw and it arrived a few days later. I assumed the chainsaw, put in the correct type of fuel and it turned on with the fourth pull. I was very impressed with how quickly it started and how well it cut through a 15” trunk and branches. Two hours later and the tree was all cut up and ready for disposal. Great saw quality, well balanced, easy to use and appears to be very durable. Great value for the money. Will buy again and recommend to others.
