Let me first just say that the price was right for this beautiful chandelier. I'm no electrician and I assembled and installed this mostly by meself. The package was damaged when it arrived and my wife signed for it as the DHL driver quietly concealed the damage by partially blocking the package and keeping the damage to the side facing away from my wife. When I got home and saw the big gouge in the box I expected to see lots of broken pieces inside. I was however surprised to find that only two of the crystals were broken. There were replacement crystals included that I was able to install for a complete undamaged fixture. I was surprised at how well the pieces were packaged in a way that they all fit safe and snug. The directions are a joke. The video on amazon is very helpfull to figure out what to do to assemble this. I read a lot of the reviews before the purchase and expected a nightmare assembling this. I was pleased that it was not really that difficult. I would suggest getting somebody to help. I put it together alone and was wishing I had a third hand several times. And for those of you who complained about the assembly and pulled stars because it was hard....give me a break. You saw the picture before you baught it. Its not a simple light fixture. Did you think it would come on a silver platter assembled and ready to install? The wires on the light are blue and brown. The blue is neutral and the brown is hot. This is typical for wiring coming from china. The great thing was that the wire was really long which was really nice when installing it. I was able to put the chandelier on the very top of a step laddar and the wire reached the 10 foot ceiling to attach to the house wires. Then the whole length coiled up nicely into the part that attaches to the mounting plat at the junction box as I lifted the chandelier to the ceiling. Screw on a couple fenials and JENGA its installed. I gave it 4 stars because the "directions" or lack thereof suck. Its a beautiful chandelier. I love it.

This is a gorgeous light- from the ground. If you’re up close it’s easy to see what cheap later it’s made of. The crystals are very nice but the fixture itself is a POS. It is super thin, coarsely painted aluminum. The round part that the “branches” mount to I think is slightly to small and it causes the branches to not want to tighten down enough because it bridges across the round portion. Several of the screws immediately stripped when trying to put it together. (My husband is a builder and electrician- so we’re not newbies at this kind of thing.) I finally ended up super glueing several of the screws into the branch to get it to tighten down with the nut on the inside without the screw spinning. If you do decide to purchase this make sure you have someone with small hands, I’m an average size woman and I could only fit the tips of my fingers in the base to reach the screws. There is so much potential in this fixture’s design, I think the manufacturer just cheaped out and we all ended up with a subpar product. I also bought the 4 light and the 5 light versions of this fixture. They’re not quite as bad as this one but still have the same issues. Unfortunately we waited to long to install them and were past the return window. Otherwise I’d have send them all back. I’ll enjoy them now that they’re up (the 8 light May need further super glueing) but I would not purchase these again.

This chandelier is really pretty. There were just a couple of things that could be an issue for someone or could be improved by the manufacturer. Assembling it was a bit challenging. I’m a small person and had some trouble getting my tiny fingers inside to screw in the leaves. While assembling I noticed an extra couple of cords inside the base of the fixture. Not sure why this has to be an extra step and the instructions weren’t clear. The entire fixture is gold but the electrical Cord was black. It would look better if it was gold to match. The fixture arrived with some scratches on it but you can’t see them when hung up. Overall, it’s very pretty and a great value for the price. I really love the way the crystals make shadows on the ceiling. I bought two and am hanging the second one tomorrow.

I really had to take a chance on this chandelier after reading all of the negative reviews about installing the crystals, etc. I found the directions to be very concise and really easy to put together. (A QR code is included for an installation video) I did have help installing it, but I'm 71 and don't do well on ladders. I would say for the price, I didn't mind attaching a few crystal laden arms with a washer and nut, and it is just beautiful in my entryway. Waiting for the 8 light hanging version to arrive to install in my diningroom ....

Mediocre at best. Not well designed, not well packaged, not well constructed. I vacillated on whether to keep it or not but decided to keep it because I do like the way it looks. Nothing is tight, nothing was easy, and even what could have been assembled at the factory what is not. The branches will only allow you to tighten them slightly before they start unscrewing from the other side. I still think it’s beautiful and because there’s no moving parts once in place, it should be OK.
