So this unit has a lot of information that's not listed on the manual or on the sellers description. The app is a mystery until you turn to the first page of the product manual. (AC freedom). The app is actually quite good and has more features than the remote which requires a lot of combination 3 second holds and multiple button holds to access hidden settings. But some features on the list will randomly disappear and reappear which is very annoying. The feature that I gambled on was a freeze protection mode, it says nothing about it on the manual or remote and I stumbled across it in the app luckily when it decided to show up. Can't really test it now since it's summer time. Installation sucked when trying to make it look perfect outside and takes some special Amazon tools to make it happen. Also when I first ordered the mini split, the box for the condenser was completely ripped open. So had it returned. The 2nd one was okay but noticed a small dent on the condensing unit after it was installed. Didn't seem to affect anything though. When the unit is operating it is whisper quiet inside and even near the outside unit. Update: had it for a month and through a week straight of 95 degree+ and it had no issues keeping the temp at 75 degrees in my 3 car insulated garage. ... show more

Fantastic! Easy install and works great. Super savings on electric bill from my old window unit. Using it to cool a 720 ft shop. Handles 100 degree heat with ease! Would definitely buy again.

Short line set subout
Set name: 9000 BTU 18.5 SEER2 230V
Unit performs great however, it's the second one I've bought from this seller. Both units had a short line set sub out making the connection difficult and also hard to make the bend down on the outside wall. If the wall had been thicker than a 2x4 wall, the low pressure line set connection would've been inside wall and non accessible after installation. I've installed many other brands and had never seen this before. ... show more
