This is a very classy chair with a retro mid-20th-century look. It is esthetically pleasing with smooth, gentle curves and a relaxed sitting position that leans back. It is also classic in its design and implementation and makes a great sitting or reading chair in your home or waiting room. This was indeed a real pleasure to assemble. First of all, the preparation and shipping carton was much better than most furniture shipped for assembly by the end user. Styrofoam sheets and blocks lined the perimeter of the carton and plastic bags covered the fabric sections. The carton itself was thicker than most to survive the sometimes rough handling of USPS, UPS, FedEx. Even if not handled roughly, objects bounce around in the trucks and you sometimes see minor damage, but this was very carefully and thoughtfully packed. Assembly was super easy, everything lined up like it was supposed to and there were not very many steps. I completed the assembly in about 25 minutes, but it could have been even less time if I had asked my spouse to assist me. I wasted some time trying to hold the seat and back together while inserting bolts to attach them to each other. At 73 years old holding them together is awkward, but as soon as I had a second set of hands to help it was super easy. The chair is very stable and it looks fantastic. I especially like the unattached lumbar support pillow. The filling is firm and the fact it is not in a FIXED position is a real asset because you can move it up or down to support the exact desired part of your back. Humans are all different, so fixing the lumbar support position means it will only be in the right position for some people, but not all. With this chair you can attain the perfect position for proper lumbar support. Kudos for that design choice! An accent chair of this beauty and quality is a bargain at $130. You can buy two of these for less than the cost of many inferior accent chairs I have seen. The classic lines and subtle interplay between the wooden arms and legs against the chenille fabric color calls to mind the classic mid-century chairs. This one is exquisite.

Love this chair. It’s very comfortable and looks great. The only complaint I have is the color is totally different than the color shown It is much darker. Luckily I do like the color, but it should be changed to a more accurate color.
