Pretty quick installation. I would caution against removing all screws on a side to install mounting bracket. The internals want to pull back and shift making reinstallation of the screws difficult. By leaving the bottom 2 screws installed and installing the top one loosely that way the internals have less opportunity for movement. I like the coverage it provides, this will also keep dust, pollen, and other materials off of the cover I have directly on the griddle. I think a washer on the outside with a locknut would be better for the hinge point as rotation can cause the nut to become loose after repeated uses, not a deal breaker but would be an improvement. I really like the spring loaded pin on the side to prevent the lid from blowing closed while cooking.

The lid fits great- have not used it yet, but like that there is a thermostat! Assembly was easy, but we were missing a screw.

Item is measured to about 37 1/4 inches, it does NOT fit my 36 inch Blackstone. And it was missing a screw. 10/10 would NOT recommend this product to anybody that has a blackstone or a griddle for that matter. Spend the few extra to get what you're paying for.
