We have been getting hit hard with a great deal of snow. This works great clearing the foot of snow off of my deck from the snowstorm. I make paths to the propane tank, bird feeders, in front of the garage doors where the truck plow cannot reach, and other paths in my yard. This sure does save your back. The batteries last a very good amount of time considering it is moving heavy high snow. We even took it to our son's home in the truck to make a path to his propane tank and walkway and in front of the mailbox. This is a dependable snow thrower. It is so simple to use, push the side button and pull up the metal bar to the handle. It has a light if you are using it at night. The shoot moves easily, no more snow blowing in your face unless you are going the wrong way with the wind blowing. I am almost 65 and 5'3 and I can pick it up to place on the deck to use it or pull it up the steps. I even use it to make paths in the back yard for my dogs. I love this thing. It actually is fun to use. It does not push for you, but it is not hard to move it at all. I wanted a snow thrower that used batteries. I had an electric one before, those are horrible. I can go any where with this one. I want to go to the web site to see if I can get spare batteries. They charge quickly as well.

I just received my snow blower a couple days ago. Just put it together last night. Only took me about 40mins go put together. The instructions to are not that helpful. They need to list all the parts that are supposed to be in the box..ex. 5- screws (then the item picture next to it). Instead they just have a picture of a fully put together snow blower with lines going to items you can't really determine what they are exactly. Also kind of in a conundrum about the shoot handle. You're supposed to screw the handle to the bottom part of the handle, however, the screw included isn't long enough! It also doesn't screw into anything!! So you can just pull it in and out. So hopefully before we get more snow, I'm going to a hardware store to get a different screw that's longer and with something to hold it in place!

I am VERY PLEASED with this little piece of equipment. I was admittedly skeptical because of the low price and I'm a firm believer in, "you get what you pay for". I used it today on some very wet, heavy snow, which it shouldn't be able to handle. (Even based on the manufacturer specs.) HOWEVER, this little guy overdelivered in a major way. Very, VERY PLEASED, this is a really great tool for the price.

It was a little challenging to assemble because it doesn’t come with a tiny screwdriver and the pieces didn’t synch with there allotted holes well. Did like it came fully charged. I suppose the trick is to snow when snow is fresh cause it doesn’t like packed snow well and I did *not* like the batteries get covered in snow when mowing it so you have to dust and clean and dry before taking them out to recharge to not electrocute yourself. Otherwise solid little machine for the money. It is very light weight.

Garvee has become quite the household name brand around my home. I have two of their trash cans, an electric snow shovel, and a regular wheeled snow shovel from them. So far, all of those products have been quality items, and I expect this one to be no exception. The Garvee 40-volt 20” snow blower is a mower-size full snow blower that comes with two power drill-sized batteries and a dual charger. If you also have the snow shovel like I do, the batteries are the same and are compatible! It’s nice to have compatible things! The unit is primarily plastic, and even the blade is plastic, so make sure to stay out of rocks, sticks, and other things that may damage it. The handle is metal, and the wheels are also plastic. The whole unit is pretty lightweight, even with the batteries installed, and it has a convenient handle on the top to make carrying and storage easier. Assembly was pretty straightforward; however, instructions were lacking and even missing a couple of steps. It wasn’t straightforward which part to assemble first for the handle, and there were two rubber washers without instructions. I start by making the bottom bracket with the small hole facing up. The hole is for the chute control. Then, the top bracket with the start/stop handle, and finally, the chute control lever. There is a cable that attaches to the start/stop handle (similar to what is on a push mower), which secures with two cable loops. I felt that it was still a little loose, so I also secured the cable with a couple of zip ties. The chute was a bit of a trick to install. Three screws hold the apparatus to the main body, with a top adjustable part. The top part is a bit of trouble because you have to secure the bolts and the chute simultaneously, making placement tricky. I believe the rubber washers also go on the outside of where the bolts go through here, but I’m not totally sure about that. The blower is quiet and quite powerful. We haven’t had snow yet, but it’s just around the corner. I can tell it’s not as powerful as my neighbors’ gas-powered blower, but it’s also about half the size of that one. My concern is that the batteries are likely only good for a small driveway. They aren’t nearly as heavy as my DeWalt 20-volt batteries. At 4Ah a piece, it does seem low. I have drones that I’ve built that have bigger amp-hour batteries than this. Only time will tell, and I’ll have to update once I get a couple of uses out of it. By comparison, the price on this is a good deal at $250. It’s impossible to find anything else on the market comparable. However, I have a feeling that this is one of those “you get what you pay for” items. If it manages to clear the drive, that will be a win. I do question about the longevity of the ite,m though, being all plastic. This is definitely a light-duty item.

Most of this snow blower is plastic. It's easy to put together and it works well. It just doesn't throw the heavier snow 23 ft., maybe 12 feet.
