The machine arrived in a wooden crate that was poorly constructed and the top of the crate was fastened on only one side. When I removed the top, I found that the slicer had damage to the metal guage plate and to the food carriage. There was dirt of some sort on the machine and I also found a metal chip as well on the machine.     • Works well but had issues.
Not sure how to rate this item. It works VERY well and I am more than happy with it. However, the first one I got didn't work. I have to return it, the meat slicer will be picked up on the 29th of July. The second one worked, but has several scratches and the arm that pushes the meat against the spinning blade was binding. I had to do some machining on the arm in order to fix the problem. Fortunately I have the tools with which to do the job. In my opinion, the meat slicer is well made, and it works really well, but I would say that the company's quality control is a bit lacking. ... show more
