I have three different split units. This one is by far the best. Very quiet, indoor and outdoor. Easy to install and puts out tons of hot and cold air depending your needs. I wish it had a indoor temperature and outdoor Reading on the app. It would be nice if it had a energy usage History but not a deal-breaker but those are some nice features that I would add a deal-breaker would have been if it was noisy. I installed this mini-split air conditioner myself using the included manual and a few online videos. It took me about a day to complete the installation. I have some technical and electrical experience, but I had never installed a mini-split before, and the installation was surprisingly straightforward. This unit runs on 115V, which I connected to an existing electrical line in my living room. I did have to purchase the condenser mount, disconnect box, and surge protector separately. I absolutely love this AC! I like it so much that I’m going to purchase another one for my bedroom and install that one myself as well. Both the indoor and outdoor units are incredibly quiet. I can hear my next-door neighbor’s condenser when I open my window, but I can’t hear mine at all—that’s how quiet it is. It’s also very efficient. At low speed, it runs around 5 amps, while at higher cooling output it can go up to around 10 amps. One of my favorite features is how easily I connected it to Alexa. I can simply tell Alexa to turn it on when I’m coming home, or control it remotely from the app. That means I can keep my apartment cool for my cat while I’m away, or come home to a nice, cool apartment after work. I have absolutely no affiliation with Garvee, this AC company, or Amazon, and I’m not receiving anything for this review. I’m genuinely impressed with this unit based on my own experience. That said, Garvee, if you happen to see this review, it would be awesome if you offered me a discount on my next unit—I’m definitely buying another one! Overall, I’m extremely happy with this unit. Don’t waste your money

I would NOT recommend this mini split. I just had it installed, and initially it seemed to work great and was blowing nice, cold air. Within days, the cooling performance dropped dramatically. Now it can run for hours on COOL with the temperature set very low and the air coming out feels more like a regular fan than an air conditioner. The outdoor unit is running and the system is producing condensation, but it is no longer cooling the room the way it did when it was first installed. Now, to make matters worse, the unit has started making strange cracking/popping sounds while it’s running. Something is clearly not right with a brand-new system behaving this way. I wish I had listened to the reviews I read. I specifically purchased this unit because it is advertised to cool a much larger area than the standard two-car garage where I installed it. It shouldn’t be struggling this badly in a space substantially smaller than its advertised coverage. I already have an HVAC technician coming out to determine what is wrong, but I should not have to troubleshoot or pay someone, again, to diagnose a brand-new air conditioner after less than a week of use. Based on my experience so far, save yourself the headache and spend your money on a more reliable unit. I wish I had. ... show more

So far so good

Very nice unit for the price. Works well with both the Heat and AC. Downfall is you must have a licensed contractor install to keep warranty. Was just installed this year, so I will update review if problems arise.

Great product seems like it will be good

After 3 months it's still going was a lot easier to install than the other brand I had that only lasted 2 years just because this one is less than half the weight, not sure if that's a good thing but will update if it doesn't last at least year's
