The end result is it's very cute, very sturdy and we are all happy. However, it took my adult son who is good at this stuff and me as his assistant 4-1/2 hours to assemble. Thank goodness we both have a good sense of humor as often we had to screw things only to unscrew them to get another part in. They send an Allen wrench. If we did it that way, we'd still be working. You really need an electric screwdriver with a part that resembles an Allen wrench and someone with you who knows how to follow these instructions, step by step - and they are still confusing. But, we did it! We were EXHAUSTED! I bought this mattress: LINENSPA 8 Inch Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid Mattress – Twin Mattress – Bed in a Box – Medium Firm. Very comfortable. Very happy I went with 8" rather than 6. You can see how cute it is. The drawers are a bit flimsy and you definitely should never let anyone bounce on this bed, but it's perfect. Cute. And Most important, all of his stuffed animals have room!

At first, I thought the boards on the bottom were too short so Ai contacted the seller. They responded promptly and explained that the frame has to be squeezed together to screw on the boards properly. Not an easy task but I got it done. Beautiful frame and very sturdy. I love it!!

This daybed was not only sturdy and adds attractive decor, but it efficiently combines usefulness in a compact way: bed, couch, 2 spaceous under drawers and 2 end tables! I absolutely love the bed, the only issue is the boards that they send with the bed are kinda uneven and aren't very long so they slip of every one in a while even with being screwed in (might be user error to be honest) but everything else is perfect! Only took 2 hours to build with one person so was very easy and instructions were easy to read!

This daybed is truly beautiful. I bought the full size and was a bit surprised at how large it seemed, but my daughter was thrilled with it when she came for the weekend. A few issues with putting it together. O e of the packets of screws was missing. I contact the seller and was told it would take 5 to 10 business days to send me the screws, or I could go buy them myself and I would get a $20 credit. I'm still waiting for that credit! Two of the supporting slats had the holes screwed too close to the end so that the slat slips out of the screw and does not support the bed! This is a serious problem. I'm going to have to go and have the slats remade for me at a Home Depot or Lowes, or perhaps have a piece of 1/4 inch plywood cut to size as a bunky board. Either way, it's more money out of my pocket again! If I hadn't gone through the aggravation and expense of hiring someone to out this bed together for me, I'd probably have sent it back no matter how pretty it is! I gave only 3 stars for assembly because of the missing/damaged parts. It's not a difficult job. I gave 3 for sturdiness because of the broken slats. With all slats functioning, it would have been five stars.
