The hoist is definitely heavy , but that actually made me feel better about the quality. Definitely need two people to put it together. Everything is thick steel, and nothing about it feels flimsy or underbuilt. Assembly took me a little time. All the parts were well labeled. The instructions were well written. Strong lift power, smooth hydraulic action. Also has a 59 inch load leveler. The foldable design collapses to just 24" wide for compact storage. The folding feature is perfect for home garages. To be honest with you, I didn't use this hoist for any cars and the only I needed it, was taking my boat engine off which worked properly. First of all, weigh capacity is very decent and my boat engine is about 1 ton, so it was very smooth and easy to handle it with this hoist. Remember, it comes in 2 boxes which one has the hydraulic and second is the frame and assembly takes about 35 minutes. Moreover, the caster wheels are heavy duty, so you can push/pull it in any situation like asphalt, granite, gravel, and etc. Besides, tge price is affordable in compare to other brands and quality.
