So far it does blow pretty cold air, so it’s doing it’s job pretty well in the hottest Colorado days. No difficulty setting up even by myself using just the included instructions. Pros: the tubing can stretch and flex enough for most placements, the air blowing is cold, and generally it’s been a life saver for summer. Cons: it sometimes “kicks on” more where it makes more noise off and on like a clickety sound then clunk it blows regularly, there isn’t a very good seal for the window adapter (but I’ve seen that a lot are like this) so it fits the window size but doesn’t seal at all just sits there with wiggle room/small gaps. Overall, the off an on extra blowing noise is the most annoying, but the cold air has been super nice. I can finally sleep. And the normal blowing sound is a nice white noise. Enjoy the cool air!

Perfect for what it is, used in a master bedroom with attached bathroom. Actually cools the entire room and isn’t obnoxiously loud either. Wouldn’t count on this to keep the whole house cold but definitely works for a bedroom or shared area.

I bought this based on the 8K BTU rating. I was replacing a 5k BTU A/C but this unit seems to be equal to the one I replaced. But this item was inexpensive and I will keep it but potential buyers should pay close attention to the room size and know that this unit will probably be more comparable to. 5K BTU unit. The unit looks and works well. Noise levels are acceptable.

This portable AC has been very useful for cooling a bedroom that gets hot in the afternoon. The 14,000 BTU rating feels strong enough for a medium to larger room, and it starts making the space feel cooler pretty quickly. I like that it is not just an air conditioner but also has fan and dehumidifier modes, so it is useful even when the room is not extremely hot. The remote control is convenient, especially at night. I can adjust the temperature or fan mode without getting up. The temperature range is wide enough for normal home use, and the unit feels pretty straightforward after the first setup. The wheels also help when moving it from one room to another. Like most portable AC units, it is not silent, but the sound is more like steady white noise than an annoying rattle. The exhaust hose setup takes some space, so measure your window area first. Overall, it cools well and feels practical.

This 3 in 1 portable air conditioner also works as a dehumidifier and as a fan. It cools rooms up to 750 square feet with adjustable temperatures ranging from 64°F to 90°F. The sleep mode keeps the unit on the quietest settings to not disturb our sleep, but we dont mind a bit of white noise anyways. The 24 hour timer maintains perfect comfort levels overnight with customizable fan speeds. We had this unit set up in about 20 minutes. We used the exhaust hose and adjustable window kit that was included with the unit. It worked great! The self evaporating system means no containers to constantly empty. It also came with a washable filter that is easy to clean for fresh air. This air conditioner is lightweight with smooth rolling casters for easy maneuvering.

I'd put off buying a portable AC for ages because every option I looked at either seemed like it would be louder than the heat it was trying to fix or like installation would turn into a whole weekend project, so I just crossed my fingers this one would make the upgrade feel simple. It's been one of those quiet wins I didn't see coming—the cooling has felt steady enough for my bedroom without that overwhelming blast of air that makes you reach for a blanket five minutes later, and while I can't promise the noise level will land the same for every sleeper or room layout, the 50dB hum has blended into my background noise without keeping me up like I worried it might. I liked that the remote lets me tweak the mode or timer from bed, and the window kit fit my slider without me having to MacGyver anything with towels or tape. I ended up ordering three portable AC units from the same manufacturer at the same time to cool separate offices, and a recent unseasonably warm Ohio day gave me the perfect opportunity to test them side-by-side. This particular unit went into a roughly 15x15 office (irregular layout, standard ceiling height), so it had the toughest job of the three. Setup was straightforward and familiar if you’ve installed portable units before. Window kit fit without much modification, controls are simple, and it started cooling quickly after powering on. Within about 25–30 minutes the room moved from noticeably warm to comfortable, so it absolutely does function as advertised. Where this one separates itself - and not in a great way - is refinement. The compressor cycling feels more noticeable, airflow sounds slightly harsher, and temperature maintenance isn’t quite as steady as the other two models I tested. It cools, but it works harder to do it. I previously owned a larger 14k BTU unit from this brand that was overkill for my needs and unfortunately failed after several months, so I approached these with cautious expectations. This model feels like the entry-level option: capable, but not especially polished. -Easy installation -Strong initial cooling -Simple controls -Noticeably louder cycling than the others -Temperature swings slightly more than expected If price is the main concern, this one gets the job done. For a larger office like mine, though, the higher-tier versions from the same lineup felt more stable and comfortable overall.
