I live in an area that recently underwent a massive heat wave. We also feature somewhat frequent multi hour power outages despite being a major city in the Pacific Northwest. So, I decided to get a couple of USB Fans. This little beast is one of them. I am astounded at its utility. The fan is whisper quiet, but blows a surprisingly good amount of air. The fan weighs almost nothing, you can Plug it into any USB charger or run it off any USB power pack. t has a level base with little rubber feet and you can move the fan head vertically (it is rigid horizontally) and it stays where it is set. Power cord is a god four feet long so placement is very flexible. I can out it on my TV tray and put the battery pack anywhere (not supplied, bring your own.) Even on the highest settings, the fan is astonishingly quiet. The blades have a steep pitch and move air well and at some distance. My wife uses hers on her nightstand and gets a comfy breeze three feet away on low. Going to tuck it in my travel bag as well. Get stuck someplace stuffy and you have a solution at hand for those hotels that either freeze you to death or leave you with no air at all. On a small 6,000 MAH pack, the fan ran on low for well over six hours non-stop. The motor and fan appear to be common across a couple of brands, see my other fan review. I am remarkably impressed. My dogs (I have 3 large) are over heated in the summer so in the past I have just placed a rotation fan in front of crates to help cool them down. That worked but not ideal. I got 3 fans this year and zip tied them to the gate so they get direct air flow. My pups seem to love the cool air, especially at night while sleeping, all 3 go lay in the crates rather than the other non crated dog beds available. So far so good, would recommend. They are quiet and fairly powerful, I also like the multi speed settings. ... show more

    • Perfect for defrosting freeze dryer!

Defrosting a freeze dryer after use can be a time consuming, chore. I watched a video on YouTube in which this fan was touted as very helpful for doing this and it was inexpensive enough to give it a try. IT WORKS. I am quite pleased and now the defrosting of the freeze dryer is faster and uses very little electricity. We plan to also take it along on cruises for , in that it's small, lightweight , whisper silent and a battery pack will run it all night. Highly recommend. ... show more

This little fan was exactly as advertised and definitely served the purpose. Bought it for travel to keep cool and create a bit of white noise. The breeze it creates isn’t enough to cool the room, of course, but enough to provide cooling when aimed right at you. Pleasantly surprised by the output, actually.. There was a bit of mechanical noise so that’s why I knocked off a star, but in all fairness I guess you have to expect a bit of this especially on small lightweight units where parts aren’t heavy enough to absorb the vibration. These small fans are really incredible. Three speed selections and WOW they put out so much air for a small fan I am so impressed with it. It blows a great stream of air over 5-6 feet. And it’s small enough so it doesn’t take up much space. I’ll update in a few months but so far A+ !!

I work in a call center and I love having a fan. it creates a bit of white noise and circulates the air around me. I have had some fans that were noisy even on a low setting and my customers could hear it. this one is very quiet. I usually have it on the second speed and it is not heard at all on my calls. I have occasionally put it on the high setting and moved it a bit farther away and works very well. the usb cord is pretty long so lots of choices to place your new desk fan buddy where you want it. ... show more
