I normally don't do product reviews, but I felt I needed to give a positive review based on what I use the light for. This thing is perfect for pictures/paintings. It's really bright and it super easy to install. 2 things to remember. First charge it before you use it. Second is you need to make sure the light is above your frame quite a bit for the motion sensor to work. My first attempt failed because it was too low and the frame was blocking the sensor. Overall this is a great light. I highly recommend and I'll be buying more! ... show more

We were looking for a battery-operated spotlight to illuminate a dark wood carved piece illustrating a lake. We uploaded a picture showing the light on high so you can see the area it lit up. This would be fine for many pictures, but it doesn’t illuminate a big enough area for our long piece of art. Pros: battery operated, easy to remove light and change battery without taking off the base that adheres to the wall. Adjustable light power. The neck is fully adjustable up and down, left to right to give the best lighting for your art. Cons: minus one star because the switch to turn it on is so sensitive it turned on by itself several times when just holding the light. This light mounts very easily with the included base. It allows options for mounting either with screws or with 3m style tape. One of the things I really appreciate about it is that it has different colors of light, ranging from a stark, sterile bright white, to a more subdued yellow-wavelength color. The battery life seems a bit short to me, for the light which is cast. The light itself is also adjustable for fine tuning of throw. It is not, however, particularly bright, so do not try and use it as an area light. For accenting one or perhaps two mounted items, it does the job nicely, however. ... show more
