Normally you shouldn't wash your hair more than twice a week unless you have super greasy hair or any other health problems. But to keep your hair healthy wash it once or twice a week use is dry shampoo if you need to. Anyway this stuff is fine for a child that needs to wash their hair everyday because it'll mess up your hair if you don't.     • Best way to tame your chemo hair regrowth!
I lost my hair during chemotherapy for breast cancer and it took forever to grow back. I had major styling problems before I found this product. Even now that my hair is a chin-length bob, I still use it to give soft volume at the roots. 10/10 - highly recommend. Oh and I'm cancer free now, too :-)

Surfer Hair holds my hair in place using a relatively small amount after I wash my hair. You can comb your hair with some water the next day and the hold is present.

    • Works to Keep Frizzy Hair Tamed
So my hair is probably a genetic abnormality. It's thin and straight, but when it's humid outside the outer layer starts frizzing up like I'm Albert Einstein's cousin. Or maybe Cousin Itt. It's just bad. Bad enough I've been asked before a team meeting to "do something with your hair" because it's distracting. You rub a tiny amount of this stuff into your hair and it sculpts. Yes, your hair will feel faintly waxy. But it will hold. Through a Tacoma windstorm. Through the giant blowers at the entrance to Costco. Probably in gale force winds with small craft advisories. I bought this some time ago and there's a little dent in it. It will probably last the rest of the year, which with how the economy is going is a big plus. It was also one of the cheaper brands out there that doesn't smell like car polish. Not sure it would hold an 18-inch Mohawk well. But if you're just looking to keep your short hairstyle in place through a normal day (or an errant waterspout as you're running for the bus), get this stuff. ... show more

If so, just dab a bit of this into your hair and you too can walk around emitting an odor of mango juice on your head, much to the annoyance of others who don't appreciate smells wafting in their space. What the H is the company thinking of? Is smelly hair considered the in-thing now? Don't bother buying this, many other less or non-smelly products doing the same thing out there. ... show more
