I love my new Garmin GPS navigator's awesome graphics, map details, ease of use and accuracy. I can't say the same about the window adapter which keeps coming off which is a safety hazard if you're driving. But, I took care of that by purchasing holder and put it on top of the dash.

    • Garmin is great, but the extras are junk!

Don't waste your money on those three extras as they are junk. The 12v adapter fell apart and they replaced it. The power cell doesn't work and I'm not going to even waste my time with them about it. No instructions either.

The 12V fell apart in my hand. Tried to get just that part replaced and apparently have to replace the entire thing.

It was a little difficult to set up, but it appears to function ok, but the maps are definitely out of date by a minimum of 20 years after the updates.

    • Too many "Smart" Features

When I purchased this, I just wanted a larger, sharper screen than my old Nuvi. I had lots of problems with all the "Smart" features with this new unit. It would not work with my car's Bluetooth. Not sure why, but there was never any audio, unless I shutoff the Bluetooth of the GPS, and then got audio from the actual GPS unit. Also I didn't like it when it was paired with my Iphone. Text messages would obscure the screen while I was trying to navigate. And for some reason the audio driving instructions would suddenly disappear. Once I disabled all Bluetooth functions, the unit worked great, just like my old Nuvi but with a better screen. I did like it that now I can give it voice commands and not fiddle with it while I am driving. Also, I was happy to be able to download all my locations from my Nuvi onto the new GPS by using the the Garmin Express program. Update: Since I submitted this review, I discovered there is a way in the settings, to select which notifications from the phone show up on the Garmin screen. I have de-selected all of them except for incoming call. This makes the GPS a much better tool. I still get the sound notification that I have a text, but there is nothing on the GPS screen, and that is what I prefer. ... show more

Well, I first must say I am the type that gets lost going around the block and prior to moving to Charleston SC my very old yet reliable Garmin started slowing down so I knew it was time to purchase a new one before hitting the road in which I did…. This Garmin ( along w God ) took me from NJ to Charleston SC without any issues !! Color: 6 inch
Fairly easy set up, mapping screens are visually sharp and easy to read. Hopefully, the vehicle GPS setup is just as easy. Very nice GPS, but will take some time to learn how to use it’s many capabilities.
