This is a Trucker GPS. I haul my Fifth Wheel RV with a Class 6 Truck SuperCruzer, 34,400lbs going down the road. So I use the Trucker GPS and not the RV GPS. This unit is half the weight of the DEZL 785 LMT-S, the one I’m replacing for the hauler. Both are also Dash Cams. With a 512 GB Micro SD card can hold well over 20 hrs of 1080 video. Both allow you to log all your maintenance and fuel usage. It will produce a printed report if you need the fuel info for a IFTA Quarterly Report. Trip planner is still about the same as before. If your use to another GPS Brand, such as Ran McNally Overdrive, this would a big learning curve. Garmin makes these with screens up to 10 inch, but the 7” one OTR725 is the only one with the dash cam. Great device. If you don’t have car play already, it will answer calls and Text messages once paired with the phone. Satellite shot of your destination appearance before you start once told to go there. Love view continues weather. Hook up to Hotspot on phone. View truck entrance before you go. Wish I would have invested in one earlier. Little pricey. But great investment.

It's a great gps. The app connects to your phone and constantly provides live updates and helps avoid traffic, I've only had it a week though and it seems to be made poorly. It keeps rebooting every few hours. And the gps wants to answer your phone calls which sucks. You can be in a call and the gps will reboot randomly and switch call immediately to it and your in traffic needing to be hands free and now your fumbling with your phone trying to connect it back to your bluetooth headset, after reading some of the other reviews I honestly want to return it before it stops working all together. ... show more

Since my 780 has been obsolete the day I bought it 5 years ago I decided I ought to upgrade so that I have fewer frustrations. But after 3 short weeks I find that it insists that I take Express Lanes that 6 wheelers may not enter. The most glaring error is the insistence that I take 40 thru Asheville, NC to KY. Everything up to date, Dezl connected and this what get for my money? I can hardly wait to see what else pops up. I guess I will find that other roads recently finished are not going to be updated- like 52 bypassing WS, NC. It is much lighter than the 780, quicker response. No way of submitting corrections. If you don’t need ELD or IFTA or record video, you likely do not need any extra SD. There is nothing on the 32G from the 780 and this had a higher storage. Extra SD is unnecessary. ... show more
