  • Very cool
It looks great and does what I want it to. Not a lot of thrills-just the way I like it. Seems pretty accurate too!

  • Pretty watch
Great watch I love it looks great even off the golf course. The only thing the battery doesn’t last as long as I like.

  • Great when it (mostly) works but very buggy with Macbook
I bought this watch as a beginner golfer to help me track how far I hit my clubs so I could start learning what club to use for what distance. For that purpose, it is excellent, but it will take several rounds of use for it to collect enough data to give you average distances. Also, if you are a beginner, and suck like most of us, your mishits will throw your averages off. But after a year of use, I find the watch very useful now to measure distance from the flag, and also to check yardages to water hazards and bunkers. A great value add with this watch is the ability to see your stats (drive and approach) on Garmin Connect. That requires you to sync the watch with a laptop, and it is very buggy with the Macbook. I've had to call customer service a few times (a lot in the beginning), and even so, it will still miss entire rounds (as it just did today, and which prompted me to finally write this review). I use a USB to USB-C adapter because the Macbook does not have a USB port. I don't know if that is the source of the problem, but it is extremely annoying to lose entire rounds. It doesn't happen often -- once every 10 rounds or so -- but when it does, it's very frustrating. Apart from that, no complaints. Battery life is great. I can usually do two full 18-hole rounds on one charge. If you leave the phone in a drawer the rest of the time like I do, the battery will last about 10 days or so. ... show more

  • Charging failed after about 14 months
The unit worked fine for about 14 months. Then it wouldn't see the charger when I plugged it in. I hoped it was just a cable, so ordered another one. Darn, it worked. Happy wife!! Well, after a few months, it quit again, so I thought, what the heck, maybe a bad cable (again). So, I ordered a second cables (2 of them), first one lasted a couple months, then no more charge (AND, I can't remember where we put the second one). I'm about to order more cables to try again. ... show more

  • Just beautiful and easy to use.
I have been eyeing GPS devices for golf for at least a year now. Was worried about the size of this watch style on my small wrist but I found it to be comfortable and stylish. (I am 4'11".) I would love to wear it for my everyday watch but the battery life is an issue. For the golf course it is so handy to use. I love the feature of moving the pin on the green to get a more accurate distance. Now if my golf game could match the GPS capability. I also love that it keeps your scores and counts your steps. Wish I would have purchased it long ago. ... show more

  • Its not very user intuitive, and there aren't clear or concise instructional material.
I bought this for my wife. I use Arccos sensors and app. My wife wanted something that would work similarly. The issue is, it doesn't do a very good job of picking up your swing. And its hard to use. You have to sit down and spend a lot of time trying to figure it out, and there aren't any clear concise instructions or even any how to videos on youtube. So basically your left wasting two or three games of golf on a course you paid for, messing with the thing. Oh and the battery life kinda sucks. The additional features like the things that are supposed to count steps and such are useless, as they don't use any actual sensors to determine if your really walking like a pedometer would. Instead they just go by GPS distance, so you take a ride in your car and it says you walked 20k steps... Anyway, though these have a ton of great reviews for being a neat "gadget" I don't find it to be of any actual value on the golf course. There are a ton of phone apps out there that are way cheaper and do the same thing. Its just not worth the money. ... show more
