  • Every fisherman's dream!
I bought this for my husband after he had complained about how bad he wanted it but didn't want the expense of having to convert his old Hummingbird system to Garmin. He has wanted it for about a year now, so I went ahead and got him everything he would need to go to a Garmin system. The Force trolling motor, Panoptics Live Scope+ and the Echomap 126sv. I gave it to him as an early Christmas present. He installed everything last Saturday and said the set up was EASY. He tested everything out last weekend and called me multiple times from the lake to tell he how unbelievable the system is. Very easy to use and learn. His old spot lock just wasn't doing the trick anymore. This new motor's spot lock kept his boat in a 2 ft circle of the shaft. The motor is very quiet and very fast. It is keeping his very heavy 22ft Skeeter moving at 4.5 miles per hour with limited battery usage. The frame and lift system is solid and so easy to use. He has heard of people complaining of the foot system, but he absolutely loves it too. I even got a text from his fishing partner telling me how amazing everything is. If you are a fisherman or a spouse of a fisherman and they are even contemplating making the leap, stop thinking and just do it already!! ... show more

  • Shockingly quiet.
I have run a MK trolling motor since 1996. I am super brand loyal. I have always replaced an older MK with a newer MK. I have really liked my Garmin 93sv graph units and decided to try the Force trolling motor. I was really convinced by the brushless motor. I LOVE fishing shallow and I know that many fish have been spooked by the whir of my MK troller in the past. This Garmin motor is CRAZY quiet. You have to get to level 8 or 9 before it can be heard. The feel of the cable-less foot pedal is not as strange as you would think. They did a great job of simulating the feel of the cable controllers you are probably used to. I would highly recommend this motor. ... show more

  • Love this motor
This motor was very easy to install. The motor is very responsive. Love the footpedal the wireless option. I took one star away because I had a deploy problem. Will see if it continues to be a problem. It’s a small plastic piece under the front hinge that gets in the way was easy to push down and deploy motor hasn’t done it since ... show more

  • Buy the right batteries
This thing makes fishing from a boat more enjoyable. I'm still learning what it can do, it's unbelievable . You can set it to troll at 1/4 mph = 22' per min. It can max thrust in the snap of a finger. It comes with a hand held remote, the foot peddle is wireless. It has anchor lock!!! Even in the wind. We sold three dirt bikes just to buy the Garmin and all the stuff for it. The 24 volts moves our 2500 pound deep V fishing boat for two days on one charge, the batteries are AGM size 31. You have to spend the money and wire it right or you are wasting your money and time. ... show more
