I bought this for my 8 yr old kid but I would not recommend it for that age range. The box mentions it is for 10+ year old kids which I think is accurate. So with some help from me in threading the needle with the floss …and with the final lock stitches with stuffing she was able to make super cute food toys. He was curious about sewing and wanted to learn. I know he's okay with doing small crafting projects and managed to figure it all out on his own. He has made a few already and he's decorated them on his desk. They're very cute and seem easy to manage (atleast for my 12 year old).
