With secure, one-time installation, the second base can be used in another vehicle allowing you to move the Fit360 seat from base-to-base. Installing the Fit360 base into your vehicle is as simple as open-route-close with innovative one-time LeverLock seat belt installation. Open the LeverLock door on the Fit360 base and route the seat belt using the easy-access belt guides. The car’s shoulder and lap belts follow their natural path through the guides for trouble-free belt routing. The built-in LeverLock self-tensioning lock system offers superior stability with three points of contact for continuous use from rear-facing through forward-facing usage. By simply closing and latching the LeverLock door, the vehicle belt is tightened in a way that eliminates any movement from front-to- back or side-to-side. This provides a secure installation with minimal effort, ensuring reliable stability over time. Top tether can be used in both rear- facing and forward-facing travel. The Fit360 base offers two RideRight level indicators and a 6-position ReclineSure leveling system making installation a breeze and providing a secure fit in your vehicle and a proper seated angle for your child’s comfort. The six recline positions allow you to select the ideal seating angle for your child during installation that will provide peace of mind throughout the duration of use. Once the base is installed in your vehicle, insert the seat into the base, secure your child and rotate into a ready-to-ride position. The visual red and green ready-to-ride indicators assure the Fit360 is installed securely in your vehicle and is in either a rear-facing or forward-facing ready-to-ride position.

Amazing!!! This is the best car seat I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned 4 different car seats. The designer of this seat clearly took into consideration all of the difficulties and annoyances of normal convertible car seats and removed them. From the magnetic shoulder strap to the push button to tighten and loose , to the simplicity of making your child rear face or forward face it is just simply well designed. The ease of getting your child in and out without bumping their head or waking them up is amazing. The cup holders twist out of the seat so you can completely wash them along with the whole seat cover when they both inevitably get disgusting. This seat is functional, and wonderful. Only con is when you go to remove it or move it to another car, make sure you bring another adult with you because it requires 3 hands. Two to grip the sides and remove the seat and a third to hold down the seat release clip. As the wife of a deployed soldier, I had to ask for help when trying to install and uninstall. The Chicco Fit360 ClearTex Rotating Convertible Car Seat has been amazing for our family. The 360° rotation makes it so much easier on our backs—and on our toddler—when getting him in and out of the car. Right now, he's still rear-facing, but I love that we can rotate the seat forward for short trips to help him gradually get used to front-facing. It’s also super convenient when we stop to eat on the go—we can turn him to face us and easily hand him snacks or toys. The straps are long enough to stay out of the way while getting him buckled, which is a small detail but makes a big difference during busy moments. The magnetic chest buckle is another standout—it clicks together quickly and easily, no fuss. I also appreciate the padded shoulder and leg straps for extra comfort. The cup holders are already getting good use for his water bottle and little toys, and the seat feels sturdy, safe, and well-made. I love that it adjusts and grows with him up to 65 lbs. Love the quality and thickness of the padding. It’s so easy to adjust the harness to fit children of all sizes. My favorite feature is the complete 360 it’s so convenient especially when I get my two yr old in and out. All in all the design is great, comfort 10/10, etc. it’s worth every penny!

I wish we bought this seat sooner. Got this around the 7mo old mark and wish we bought this sooner. The installation was relatively straightforward and this really is a great seat. I appreciate how the rotation can be rear facing or forward facing while keeping the side loading component! Some other seats I saw lost the side loading feature when going to forward facing. The dark gray fabric is nice, pretty easy to wipe down or vacuum and LO seem pretty comfortable in there. Also, magnetic chest straps are a game changer and getting in and out of the seat is a breeze. Haven't used the cup holders yet but they are a nice addition. Money well spent on a seat that will hopefully last us several years. ... show more

I bought this car seat to replace an old one in my mother's car that was impossible to safely install (would not tighten no matter how much pulling and tugging!). She has raved about it. I have two kids, one infant and one toddler, meaning one needs to be rear facing, the other is forward facing. This seat can accommodate both without needing to reinstall, just a few simple adjustments. She rarely has both at the same time so this seat is absolutely perfect! The easiest seat to install! No yanking and pulling hoping to get it right. Just feed the belt snugly and close the door. The seat isn't going anywhere! It is heavy, but splits into two pieces to make install easier. Honestly, I don't mind the weight for something that is made to protect my precious cargo. Hopefully we'll never need to put it to the test. The no thread harness is awesome and super easy to adjust. The cloth is soft. It looks and feels like a quality car seat. The spin is smooth and LOVE that it can be rear or forward facing with the same install. It's also much easier to get the kids in and out without having to twist and bonk their heads getting them in. We're likely to get more in the future with how impressed we are. The only small complaint is the button to release the harness is really hard to push. However, it's just an annoyance, not stuck. ... show more
