Moved into a new apartment in August & wanted to put some plants out on the balcony, even though it was late in the season!! Put these into a 24" pot on the balcony, hoping that they would at least add a little color to the balcony before winter put them to sleep...and hoping they would be able to store up enough energy to survive wintering over....well, these guys weren't messing around!! Within a couple of weeks, they all came up & went crazy with color!!! I've actually had to cut back some of the bigger leaves (over 2' in size) so that the lower foliage could get enough light!!! These corms were GIGANTIC, at LEAST 5 times bigger than the ones I have purchased from the big box stores, and they haven't come up yet, but they were so beautiful I expect them to come up any day now, and I can't wait to see them! I WILL BE BUYING MORE FROM THIS VENDOR, because I almost believe they may have sent me MAGICAL CORMS! I can't wait for fall now, and it's not even summer yet!! I planted 20 of these the 30th of April and almost 5 weeks later and have not seen one come up! We have has several rains and I have watered them als and added natural fertilizer and so far no growth! I planed 24 Hosta plants with them and they are doing great! Will not buy from this country again!

I was happy with the bulbs as they all were viable. They sprouted from in the box. My only disappointment is it's looking to be all the same type of caladium. No variety. UPDATE I am happy to report that with some patience, I have seen slower plants coming up and, in fact, have discovered 4 different varieties growing. No white ones though. I bought these for a very good price in an end-of-season sale. They were shrivled up and peeling but our planters weren't ready so I then stored them for awhile. Once the weather was right and the planters were ready I didn't expect much when I planted them. EVERY SINGLE ONE grew. I was absolutely thrilled and very surprised. they are now, in June, growing like mad and are gorgeous. Don't underestimate an end-of-season sale.
