I bought this because I wanted to add fiber to my diet but not just the plain old Metamucil kind of fiber. This has extra ground up stuff in it that seemed to me like a good alternative. As for the "no flavor" aspect of it... well, I find that it definitely has flavor... like chewing on cardboard... so it's not all that pleasant to just drink it in water but honestly I don't mind at all since it's just one glass of water with this stuff in it per day and it works wonders. So I will definitely be buying this over and over for several years to come. I think you probably wouldn't even notice it if you put it in yogurt and ate it instead of drinking it but I haven't tried that yet.

this product is the only thing that has worked for me. it is completely life changing. buy it. but there are a few cons. it doesn’t mix with water easily. you must use a blender bottle or it just won’t dissolve. there’s also not many servings in a bag. maybe like a month’s worth. but it’s still worth it. 10/10

I eat pretty healthy but after logging my food, I was shocked to see how low I still manage to fall on my fiber intake. I initially got the Metamucil powder but I didn’t want to keep using that daily since it has aspartame in it. After reviewing ingredients, the garden of life product appeared to be the best. On its own it is so chalky though so I couldn’t bring myself to drink it regularly. I experimented with adding it into my daily chocolate protein shake though and it’s perfect! You get a yummy chocolate orange flavor and no chalky flavor. Highly recommend this product so long as you can somewhat mask the flavor!

I put a heaping tablespoon of this fiber in a tall glass of water that I drink every single morning along with a scoop of pure ascorbic acid (vitamin c), power shot (a mix of organic super greens), a scoop of pre-workout on the days that I lift heavy, a scoop of BCAA powder on the days that I do cardio, 5 drops of vitamin D3/K2 and 3 drops of Iodine. I blend it with my little hand mixer and use it to take all my morning supplements with my breakfast. I have been drinking this mixture every day for over two years now and I swear by it. While I take LOTS of other supps, eat healthy and exercise, I feel like my morning drink is a key to how I've been able to go over 2 years without ever getting so much as the sniffles, and I'm as regular as regular can be! As for the fiber itself, it's very easy to mix, is tasteless and doesn't clump. I love the organic ingredient list and feel like it helps me keep my gut happy. Yes, this will settle in the bottom if you let it sit for very long, but that's just par for the course with pretty much any fiber powder so I don't think it's worth docking a star. I just use my little hand mixer or swirl it manually in the cup every 3 to 4 sips and that keeps it evenly distributed. If you're looking for a good fiber supplement, I can highly recommend this one! I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else. And yes, I pay full price for it in my monthly subscriptions. Feel free to ask any questions!

I purchased 2 packets of this product as a trial, and am very disappointed. The product usage is quite contrary to what is advertised on the packet: "Dissolves easily and mixes clearly". In fact it is difficult to dissolve and even after premixing before topping up the glass with liquid, there is a residual dark brown undissolved mess at the bottom of the glass. It also does not mix clearly and in fact produces a dark brown tea-colored effect even in water. I sought clarity from the manufacturers as I was understandably nervous about injecting this mixture. I received the following response: "This is to confirm that the mix-ability can vary from lot to lot due to the natural ingredients. Additionally, the color change in the Dr. Formulated Fiber is normal. It is due to the orange peel and the baobab pulp powder. This does not affect the safety or efficacy of the product." With so many easier-to-use fiber products on the market, I fail to see why anyone would spend their money on this one.

Overall, I like the product. However, it does NOT match its description. In bold print, the package label says that it is, "Clear, Odorless, Unflavored..." and "Dissolves easily and mixes clearly." None of these claims are even remotely true. I usually try to mix mine in 16oz of water by adding it straight into the water bottle and then shaking profusely. I can NEVER get all of it to dissolve no matter how hard and long I shake. So, I tried mixing it in a cup with a spoon and then returning it to the bottle and it was just as difficult. The sediment at the bottom of the cup was my 2nd attempt to mix it after there were still clumps of product floating around in the water bottle. It does have a flavor, but I'm not sure what it is. I mix mine with flavored water and it changes the taste to a green tea like flavor, which I like so that's ok for me. I don't know what plain water would taste like after adding this mix. It does have an odor...to me, kind of an oat smell, but not overbearing. It clearly has color. It looks like murky lake water. The effects on me are good, so it works well for me. I don't mind the flavor, so that's why I still gave it 3 stars. It's just that the packaging is misleading regarding its appearance. I will continue to purchase it though because it does meet my nutritional needs.
