Soft and easy to handle
This is a really good little hose. It is perfect for watering you flower bed or pot plants. It is a small size and easy to work with so its great for older people that need a way to water their plants. It came with 3 extra o ring seals if later you need to replace one. Its soft outer layer makes it easy to fold or hang on a hook. I would think it is like any other garden hose if you leave it laying around to get run over a lot it would bust if left under pressure all time.

Very light and compact
Great hose for working around the garden, easy to storage, plus my husband likes it a lot for when he is washing our vehicles also can reach just around anything due to being 50FT long.

Strong steel hose with a few quality issues

The 100 ft metal garden hose overall was a good choice for our garden. It did, however, come with a few quality issues. One really nice thing about this hose was that it was very easy to roll up and was kink proof. These in fact were its very best characteristics. It replaced a large polyurethane hose that had a mind of its own when trying to roll back up. Even though it was 100 feet long it had a smaller footprint than the older hose and was easier to handle. The outer steel jacket was tough and would have been difficult to smash down, and there were no leaks while watering the garden. The two hose connections were made from thin aluminum, and the brass-like finish easily wore off exposing the aluminum underneath. In my experience aluminum hose connections don't last long and over time will get corroded making it more difficult to make connections. The nozzle was unimpressive, and was completely made of plastic. This nozzle won't hold up to the rigors of watering over time. Overall this is a good hose and would be perfect for those of you looking for a tough hose that can take a beating.

Great hose for large areas

This review is for the Garden Hose Metal 100FT, Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Water Hose With 10 Function Nozzle, No-Kink, Tough & Flexible, Sturdy and Lightweight, Rust Proof for Yard, Outdoor, RV If you have a large yard, this hose will come in very handy. It is lightweight and easy to carry, but note that if you have ANY hairs on your arm, it will pinch! So if you're planning to carry it around your arm, I recommend wearing long sleeves or putting a towel between the hose and your skin. That is really the only drawback. The flexible steel avoids kinks even when it gets caught on corners. The hose did not leak on either end connected to the outdoor faucet and sprinkler. It reached all the way to the end of my yard, with plenty to spare. You can see in my photos that I have some dry spots in my yard that my previous hose and sprinkler setup couldn't reach. I also love that it is long enough to access the side yard too. Since it's so light, I can easily pull it closer as I move around the yard. Bonus: it comes with a hand sprayer, which I am sure to use for watering various container plants around my yard. I just love that I don't have to pull or stretch to reach areas I couldn't with shorter hoses.

This is the perfect hose!!

I've been through dozens of hoses over the years. The biggest issue in Arizona is that the hoses break down after a couple of years in the sun and need to be thrown away. In addition, rubber hoses are constantly kinking up and you spend half your time straightening them out so the water flows properly. With the increasing cost of rubber hoses, you can't afford to keep buying new ones every 2-3 years. This hose is amazing. It's made of stainless teel, so it won't rust. It's flexible, but won't kink if it's in a knot or pulled around a corner. I thought it would have a lower pressure, since it's diameter is smaller than most of the hoses I've used, but it had excellent pressure. It comes complete with a multi-function nozzle, which is worth at least $10.00 on its own. It also comes with extra washers. The only thing to be careful of is touching the metal with bare hands if it's in the direct sunlight. It gets hot. This hose is awesome and I highly recommend it.

Compact, kink-free 100ft hose (Swap the nozzle though!)

I wanted to put this hose through its paces multiple times before writing a review, and so far, it really does the trick. At 100 feet, it easily coils onto the same wall rack that used to hold my 50-foot rubber hose. It doesn't kink at all while watering. Time will tell if the casing holds its shape if stepped on, but for now, it's performing flawlessly. The only weak link is the included plastic spray gun, which feels cheap and unlikely to last. I swapped it for my old metal nozzle right away. Overall, highly recommended for the hose alone!
